However, there are other incredible transformations that we've seen in the series as well, and these transformations are often overshadowed because the Straw Hat Pirates are just too popular, especially with their new powers and transformations. That said, these other adaptations are incredible in their own way, and while some of them are just average, others have proven themselves to be the best in the entire series.

With his intelligence, he was able to awaken this devilish fruit beyond all limits. This awakening was put on full display in the Egghead Island arc, where he displayed an incredibly powerful form in his battle against Luffy. Later, he used the transformation once again in his fight against Zoro, and it proved to be strong enough to nearly hold the Straw Hat Swordsman to a tie.

Yamato was introduced to fans in the Wano Country arc and has won the hearts of fans ever since. Of course, being Kaido's child, Yamato was sure to be a powerful man, and this was proven at the Battle of Onigashima. Yamato is seen accessing a unique transformation, thanks to Okuchi no Makami's Devil Fruit, which was the legendary Joan Dog Dog Fruit model that they consumed as children.
This devil fruit gave Yamato the ability to transform into a guardian god wolf and its hybrid at will. Yamato also gains the power to manipulate ice with this Devil Fruit, making it incredibly effective in combat.

Former First Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, Marko has arguably the most majestic Devil Fruit transformation in one piece. Marco is a user of the Phoenix Fall, and this transformation is absolutely stunning, no matter how fans view it.
As the name implies, it allows Marco to transform into a phoenix as well as a phoenix-human hybrid at will. Marco can also manifest blue flames of resurrection throughout his body, which are overpowered as he heals any and all damage he takes. In terms of combat, Marco gains superior physical abilities and the power to heal from injuries as long as he has stamina.

So far, the best non-straw hat transformation we've seen in One Piece is Nerona Emu's Akuma no Mi form. This transformation officially started in 2015 a piece Chapter 1179, and immediately after, showed us its powers. With its power, Emu can manipulate Omen's Black Flames and deal deadly damage to his enemies.
More than that, Imu also has the ability to change shape in this form and use several weapon-based attacks. By far, this is the most versatile one-piece transformation we've seen, and with the straw hat, it's definitely among some of the best.
