On July 3, 2026, during the Crunchyroll stage at Anime Expo 2026, Single leveling Officially got its biggest new project in the form of a movie. After the completion of Single leveling Season 2, we didn't know what was next for the franchise. While some reports hinted at a season 3, others suggested there would be another movie. Finally, at Anime Expo 2026, Single Level: Beyond the System It was officially announced as a sequel to Season 2 as a theatrical release.
This new movie will take series protagonist Sung Jinwoo through his toughest challenges yet, pitting him against the greatest enemy he's ever faced in the form of Kandiaru, an incredibly strong fighter, but most importantly, the figure who led Jinwoo on his path to becoming the Shadow Emperor.
Solo Leveling: Beyond the System Will Pit Sung Jinwoo vs. His Strongest Enemy 'Kandiyaru'
A single level out of the system It is set to follow the events of the Jeju Island arc, which means that the next two arcs in the solo leveling web novel and manhwa will be adapted into movies.
