How to start the treasure in painting quest in Wuthering Waves
To begin with Treasure in painting quest, players must visit the Resonance Beacon located just outside of Egla Town in Whisperwind Haven. From there, go up the steps on the east side of the beacon until you reach the last set of steps. Nearby, players will find a grassy area where an NPC is named Claudia Painting on canvas next to rocks. Make sure your in-game clock is set to the middle 6:00 am and 5:00 pm (06:00–17:00), after Claudia leaves the area at night.
Talk to Claudia to initiate the hidden side quest. During the conversation, Claudia will mention that the player reminds her of their Sentinel and will gift them a portrait of him. After the dialogue, the quest will update, tasking players with discovering the real-world location that inspired Claudia's painting.

The location depicted in Claudia's portrait is a tower to the south, visible from her rock. The tower is located within Thessalio Fells on the small island of Thorncrown Rises. Players can use the Echo Challenge: Flight II teleport point to easily reach the top of the tower. Alternatively, the Command Rise teleport point – unlocked after completing the Shadow of the Tower exploration quest – can be used to access the base of the tower.
From above, players can glide down a section of the tower to reach a marked location. If starting from the bottom, players can use the flight utility tool, introduced in version 2.0, to climb the tower. Once at the marked spot, stand on it to make a standard supply chest appear. Open the chest to complete the treasures in the painting and earn the achievement lost glory.
