How To Unlock Thai Necromancy

You need to find a dark sapphire

To actually open the Thai Book of Necromancy, you need Dark Amethyst. Thankfully, it can also be found in the Blighted Village – specifically, down the village well in the lair of the Matriarch Spider. You must climb down this well (or, alternatively, break down the wall leading to the cave below the well in the blacksmith's basement). You can find Dark Amethyst on a pile of bones at the western end of this cave, behind all the Phase Spiders and their Matriarch.

The standard route is to defeat all these spiders first and then get the Dark Amethyst, but you can use stealth or invisibility to sneak behind the spiders, grab the Amethyst, and teleport out, though this is much harder to pull off.

After obtaining the Dark Amethyst using whatever route you decide, interact with Necromancy of Thy in your inventory. You will get an option'Place the amethyst in the slot on the book cover,' and you want to select it. From here, you will have four options, and the one you want to choose is 'Open Book'.

If you are looking for a guide on how to unlock Thai book necromancy, you will want to read this successfully. To read this book, you must pass three separate intelligence checks after opening the book, and if you fail any of them, you will suffer a curse. (Either Whisper of Madness or Baleful Knowledge Curse, both do the same thing: cause loss on Wisdom checks unless the curse spell is removed on the character).

However, with each success, you will earn rewards such as Speak with the dead ritual spell and Forbidden knowledge passive feature. After passing all three initial saving throws, you get everything out of the book (for now), and it closes.
