Green Hill Act 1 Red Star Rings
Classic Sonic has five Red Star Rings hidden in the Green Hill, and they aren't always hidden in the high passes. You really need to explore every part of each level to find them.
- Red Star Ring 1: Right at the beginning, between two bridges with jumping piranhas.
- Red Star Ring 2: Found in a loop after bouncing an enemy on a high path.
- Red Star Ring 3: After running down the broken path just before the Yellow Spring.
- Red Star Ring 4: In an area with a swinging platform, it swings to the left when found by jumping off the second platform.
- Red star ring 5: Found on top of a tree in a Bhir reached by jumping from an enemy. It can be very difficult to reach without speed, so use Aqua Shield to reach the tree.

Green Hill Act 2 Red Star Rings
Modern Sonic likes to go fast, very fast. This makes those Red Star Rings a little harder to find You may notice them with a blink. Here is where you can find them.
- Red Star Ring 1: Left in the air after hitting the first ramp.
- Red Star Ring 2: In the higher section after the rainbow bell, fly to enemies using a homing attack.
- Red Star Ring 3: On the right-most rail of the section where you're chased by a giant piranha.
- Red Star Ring 4: Straight up the spike ball on the Grand Rail near the end.
- Red star ring 5: At the end of the line of enemies on the final stretch towards the goal.

Green Hill Act 1 Hidden Chaos
Chaos are scary little friends to classic Sonic, thus hiding in plain sight. You can't see them until you are completely still. Almost like they don't want to be rescued! Here's where to find them.
- Hidden Chaos 1: This is found at the start next to the ring box on the Chao side.
- Hidden Chaos 2: This Chao Totem is found at the base of the pole covered in springs that propel you upwards. Just drop down if you miss them.
- Hidden Chaos 3: It is found inside the Chao Rock in the same place as the fifth Red Star Ring. Break it to save them.
Green Hill Act 2 Hidden Chaos
Modern Sonic sometimes has a slightly jerky movement, making precise movements difficult, and Still standing hard and working with the camera. So we're here to save you that struggle, and tell you where to find all this chaos.
- Hidden Chaos 1: After the initial ramp, hit the rock next to the bounce pad to find this Chao
- Hidden Chaos 2: While crossing a gap with some suspended platforms, jump to the lowest section to find this Chao.
- Hidden Chaos 3: On the bridge next to the side with the flying hornet enemies, slam through the bridge to break it. Chao is down.
