By trading most of his life force, Granolah becomes the strongest warrior in Universe 7, second only to Gods and Angels. The downside is that he only has three years left to live, but he is determined to use that time wisely. Granolah's will raises his power level to astronomical heights, while giving him access to techniques such as Hakai.

Once the arc begins in earnest and he begins fighting Goku, Granolah's body adapts to Perfect Ultra Instinct and awakens his full-powered Cerelian form. All Cerelians are born with a developed right eye that allows them to accurately target any opponent's vital objects. At his full power, Granolah's left eye awakens, giving him even more deadly accuracy. Full Power Cerelian Granolah manages to outspeed the Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku, overpowering the form's reflexes to target Goku's vitals and nearly kill him.

In response to Granolah's wish on the Dragon Balls, the leader of the Haters goes to Elek Serial and makes his own wish on Toronbo. Instead of wanting the power for himself, Elek wants to make his brother Gas the strongest being in the universe. Unlike Granolah's will, which was a straight trade of life for power, Elek's will only age Gas and lose years of his life when someone crosses him.

This means Gase's body is always attuned to the power levels of his opponents (unless they were in Universe 7 at the time of the wish, that is). By design, Awakened Gas will always be stronger than Perfect Ultra Instinct Goku. Anytime Goku crosses him, Gase will awaken to a greater level of power to capture the power of Ultra Instinct. This is what Granolah is all about in The Survivor Saga, and why Black Frieza is finally going to kill the gas once and for all.

Orange Piccolo Perfect Ultra Instinct is in the same tier as Goku
