Saros It's near the top of my must-play list this year. The game launches in a little over a month now, and I'm dying to see what Housemark has up its sleeve next. Saros seems to be taking returnThe formula and improving it with some interesting tweaks. This is the biggest difference between the two Saros can actually reach a larger audience. Some of the gameplay changes may be somewhat disappointing return fans, but I'm not too bothered by the more forgiving progression system and hero Arjun's resurrection mechanic.

The way it uses elements like its illness to delve into Selene's psyche and tell the story of her trapped in a painful cycle is nothing short of brilliant writing. It's a great way to demonstrate how gameplay mechanics are important storytelling tools. This year will mark six years since the PS5 first launched, and it still feels like many developers have fully embraced DualSense's capabilities. Of course, this is partly because so many cross-gen games have been introduced in the past few years, but the PS5 finally seems to be hitting its stride.
Developers are finally moving on from the last generation of consoles, and that means better use of DualSense's haptic feedback. Like the latest PS5 exclusives Astro Bot, Death Stranding 2and Ghost of Yotei Great use was made of the controller's features, however return It was actually ahead of its time. Both return and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart Launched in 2021, and those two are still some of the best demonstrations of how versatile DualSense is as an immersion tool.

Saros How is a very important change return approaching death. The latter was more difficult in this regard because Selene would lose most of her upgrades upon death. With Arjun, it looks like Housemark is more forgiving this time, but hopefully not too much. Tagline for Saros Leading up to its release is “Come Back Strong.” It's playing straight Saros' permanent progression system, and I'm really curious to see how different it makes the game feel return.
Death is basically more about development than starting from scratch SarosAnd it can probably be really useful for building systems. Of course, traditional roguelikes are all about starting a run with a blank slate, but Saros' A roguelite, static approach requires more methodical thought about what upgrades are chosen. There's also the option to choose Arjun's loadout before each run, which alone provides more build flexibility than ever before. return.

It's an underrated gem because it's still a fantastic showcase of the PS5's DualSense features when it should be surpassed by now. The game still hasn't really gotten the praise it deserves in this regard, and Saros Hopefully that will open the door for more gamers to experience such great gameplay, storytelling, and well-crafted immersion.
