Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter 34 for the series is set to begin a new arc in Shueisha's V-Jump issue #7 on May 20, 2026. After the conclusion of the Mamushi arc, Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter 34 exists to tie up the loose ends and deal with the post-war material to tease out this new chapter. The official website for Boruto and Naruto, naruto-official.com, released a new sneak peek panel on May 18, 2026.
This panel focused on several characters, including Boruto Uzumaki, Chocho, Shikadai Nara, and Inojin Yamanaka, along with Himawari Uzumaki, celebrating after their victory over Shinju Mamushi. Most importantly, this new panel tells us that Himawari Uzumaki, the current bearer of Kurama's power, has now officially gained a Six Path-level power-up and has the energy to heal Naruto's rival from the Fourth Great Ninja War.
New Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 Sneak Peek Confirms Himawari's New Healing Powers
On May 18, 2026, Boruto and Naruto's official website, naruto-official.com, revealed the second sneak peek panel for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34. While the focus of this new sneak peek was Boruto Uzumaki as he teleported after Mamushi, he showed some light on the Uzumaki in Konoha. The result of his attempt to save Inojin's eye in the previous chapter.
in Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes In Chapter 33, which was released on April 20, 2026, Inojin tries to save Konoha by using his mind-body transfer on Mamushi and directs the killing intent to Daemon, who then reflects on all the Mamushi clones, ridding them for good. As Inozine wanted to render Damon's eye ineffective, that action was reflected in all of the Mamushi clones, including Inozine's own body. Inevitably, both of Inojin's eyes were destroyed in the attempt, and if this was the case his overall power as a ninja would have been significantly nerfed. Moments later, Himawari is seen using Kurama's healing powers to heal Inojin.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter 34 finally shows the results, thanks to a new sneak peek. In this chapter, it is clear that both of Inojin's eyes are intact and Himawari was able to restore them completely, giving him full sight once again. It is a great feat of healing abilities that reminds us of what Naruto Uzumaki did in the Naruto manga 12 years ago in May 2014 during the Fourth Great Ninja War.

Boruto: The Best Fights in Anime, Ranked
The Boruto series is filled with thrilling battles and exciting fights. Here's a look at some of the best in anime.
Himawari's restorative powers are comparable to Naruto's six paths of yin-yang release
To truly appreciate Himawari Uzumaki's new healing abilities Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter 34, we must go back to Naruto's achievements from the Fourth Great Ninja War. Returning to the battle, Madara Uchiha sneaks up on Kakashi and rips out his Mangekyo Sharingan, using it to go to the Kamui dimension. Around this time, Naruto had awakened his six path powers, and moments later, he used the Yin-Yang Release to restore Kakashi's old eye, even though it had been stolen. It was a god level feat, which Naruto said he didn't understand how he pulled himself up.
“Kakashi sensei, try opening your eyes now! You can tell I took a part of Kakashi-sensei and did a little…something!” – Naruto Uzumaki, Naruto Chapter 675
Restoring lost limbs is a very difficult task, and only those with god-level strength are able to do it. Himawari Uzumaki did something similar in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 Sneak Peek. She was able to use Kurama's power to fully restore Inojin's eyes, even though they were both lost in the previous chapter. This was, in many ways, an even greater feat than Naruto had ever shown in battle.
On a superficial level, this may come as a surprise to some fans, but it makes a lot of sense because Himawari's synchronization with Kurama is even greater than Naruto's, as we were officially confirmed in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 10, which was released in V Jump Issue #7 in May 2024. Himawari has a lot of synchronization with Kurama in this state. He did the same with Naruto, and it set him up to unlock more of his powers than the previous user.
“I can sense that your chakra has a higher affinity for me than any of its predecessors. Even more so than Naruto's.” – From Kurama to Himawari, Boruto: To Blue Vortex Chapter 10
More than that, it was later confirmed Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter 25 that Himawari is not a Jinchuuriki and is a human tailed beast, as Jura acts as the avatar of the Ten Tails. This means that Himawari's powers are much purer and even more powerful, allowing her to pull off feats that Naruto couldn't in the past.
You are no ordinary shinobi. In fact, you're a little different from a jinchuriki… with a tailed beast inside. You are human, yet, if anything, you are similar to me and Jura. – Kurama to Himawari, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 25

Himawari's absolute potential in Boruto's future: Two Blue Vortexes
It goes without saying that Himawari Uzumaki is extremely powerful right now, and the latest feat she pulled off. Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter 34 goes on to show the improvements he made in a short period of time. However, he is still nowhere near fulfilling his potential as a shinobi. Himawari was seen training with Kurama Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter 25, and it was clear to see that she was frustrating the tailed beast to a great extent. This suggests that he is nowhere close to unlocking his full potential.
It will take years for Himawari to fully master Kurama's power, and when she does, she should have access to abilities such as full Kurama Chakra Mode and healing abilities on a level comparable to the Six Paths. More than that, Himawari may even be able to use powers similar to Baryon Mode, and this time, due to her superior coordination, she may even be able to avoid death by doing so.
Of course, this is all speculation on our part, but the possibility definitely exists and cannot be ruled out. In any case, Himawari is claimed by Kurama to have more abilities than Naruto Uzumaki, and this is an official statement that comes from writer Mikio Ikemoto and supervisor Masashi Kishimoto themselves. By adulthood, he should be well above the average Kage-level ninja and strong enough to rival even Otsutsuki and Jura. Once Himawari masters her powers, she should be one of Konoha's elite shinobi and even surpass Naruto Uzumaki in his prime, which is a significant achievement for her and one we will all truly appreciate after watching her grow for almost 10 years.
For that to happen, however, we need to be very patient, as Himawari is still very young and nowhere near mastering Kurama's power. She is not even the protagonist of the series and only acts as a side character. Most of the focus will still be on the likes of Boruto Uzumaki, Kawaki, and Sarada Uchiha. Himawari will get her moments, but sporadically, and that's something we all need to keep in mind so that our expectations are balanced. Regardless, this new Six Path-level power-up is there for all Boruto fans to celebrate and enjoy.
