The Super Saiyan God changed everything for Goku when he unlocked it Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods. Crimson Radiance of God

By gathering six pure-hearted Saiyans together, five of those Saiyans can perform a God Ritual to grant the sixth Saiyan great power that allows them to unlock the Super Saiyan God. The Ritual Version of the Super Saiyan God is only a temporary transformation that will wear off if the Saiyan using it fights for too long. Such was the case in the past with Yamoshi and Goku War of the Gods.

Ritual Super Saiyan God is the weakest version of SSG after Lord God's Crimson Radiance, although that is to be expected. The ritual version of the Super Saiyan God is simply an entry point in form, as well as God's. Once a Saiyan has mastered how to use God Ki in his base state, it is possible to unlock an even stronger version of the Super Saiyan God that can be triggered at will, just like any other Super Saiyan form.

Saiyan God

It is never explained how DBZ Broly's version unlocks God Key, but God Broly is an offshoot of Super Saiyan God that combines Broly's legendary Super Saiyan transformation with God Key.

Lord Broly is strong enough to defeat Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta at the same time. Lord Broly is only defeated when Goku literally fuses with the audience to become Super Saiyan Blue God Fusion Goku. In terms of power, God Broly is stronger than Goku and Vegeta at the start of the Tournament of Power, but will actually lose to Ultra Instinct Saiyan and Super Saiyan Blue Evolved respectively.

True Ultra Instinct Super Saiyan God

Users: Goku

During Granolah the Survivor Saga, Goku learns how to combine Ultra Instinct with his various Super Saiyan forms. By calming his nerves while fighting Granolah, Goku manages to trigger Ultra Instinct while using Super Saiyan God at the same time. This is Goku's first step in mastering True Ultra Instinct, a version of the UI that allows him to react and attack effortlessly, while at the same time taking advantage of his god form's power multipliers.

True Ultra Instinct Super Saiyan God is the strongest version of Super Saiyan God. Goku basically gets two power boosts in one, allowing him to take a hit from Granolah that would otherwise kill him on the spot. Combining Ultra Instinct with SSG allows Goku to attack faster than light and fight with his own raw power. However, by this point in the series, Goku has fully mastered Super Saiyan Blue and immediately replaces TUISSG with True Ultra Instinct Super Saiyan Blue.
