New LEGO Pokemon The set has been leaked online, and it will feature a battle between Charizard and Jolteon. Pokemon Has been around since 1996, and the franchise is more popular than ever. Originally submitted at 151 Pokemon Red and Green Fan favorites remain, and Charizard and Jolteon are no exception. The two have received tons of merchandise over the years, including cards, apparel, Funko Pops, and more.
LEGO began offering building sets based on Pokemon Brand in early 2026. So far, only a handful have been released, but it looks like the company has ambitious plans for the future. Several Pokemon LEGO sets have leaked online, featuring iconic characters such as Charmander, Gengar, Cubone, Jigglypuff, and Geodude. These sets will apparently see a release on August 1st, but LEGO has yet to make any sort of official announcement.

Charizard vs. Jolteon: The Final Battle
Photographs of A Pokemon A LEGO set has been leaked on social media, depicting a battle between an electric-type Zoltean and a fire/flying-type Charizard. LEGO Smart Bricks debuted earlier this year, and have since been integrated into many sets. The Charizard vs. Jolteon set will include two smart bricks, which will respond to how the user plays with the included LEGO builds. In addition to the Pokemon themselves, the set will include a miniature Poke Ball build.

While this set is being billed as the “Final Battle”, the battle between Charizard and Jolteon will be very one-sided, as Jolteon's Electric-type gives it a distinct advantage over any Flying-type Pokemon, including Charizard. While Charizard can learn ground-type moves that can help it dominate, it's not an ideal match-up. It's also an unusual combination for a LEGO set, as these two Pokémon don't normally match each other; Charizard made a bit more sense against Venusar or Blastoise. However, LEGO already has a set featuring the final evolution of the Kanto starter. Offering Charizard in a cheap set with another popular Pokemon makes some sense.
Thus far, the Smart Bricks have been a major source of controversy among Lego fans. Smart bricks make LEGO sets expensive, and this is frustrating for collectors who have no interest in extra features. There are many fans and collectors who want to build LEGO versions of their favorite Pokemon. LEGO sets can be expensive enough without adding anything extra, so including expensive new technology risks alienating fans and collectors with less money to spend.

With all these leaks recently, it will be interesting to see if LEGO decides to officially unveil these new ones. Pokemon sets. 2026 is quickly proving to be a big year for the brand, which is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary. As a result, there is no shortage of merchandise to purchase in stores and online. These LEGO sets will add to an already expensive year for fans of the franchise, but things could definitely get worse. There was a time when Pokemon Lego sets didn't even exist, but those days are in the past.
