The new Boruto Guidebook confirms Naruto Uzumaki to hold dimension shuttering powers
Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes The most recent guidebook, which was officially released on June 4, 2026, focused heavily on the 7th Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki in particular. For one, Naruto was declared the strongest shinobi, and at the same time, his various battles were also covered in detail in this guidebook. The most recent release of the Boruto Guidebook featured Naruto's confrontation with Jigen. This clash officially took place in Boruto: Naruto Next Generation's Chapter 38, released on September 20, 2019, and both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha were shown to be completely overwhelmed by Jigen's powers.

His power became so high that he was able to defeat Madara Uchiha and, in some instances, even Kaguya Otsutsuki. What the recent release of the Boruto Guidebook confirms is that Naruto is getting stronger. This all goes to show that, in adulthood, Naruto and Sasuke had reached such a level that the writers had no choice but to let them down and remove them from the story to give the next generation something to do and shine on their own.

Naruto Uzumaki's fate after his return to the two blue vortexes
Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha were both cut from the story in separate ways. In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 77, the Seventh Hokage was officially shut down by Kawaki using the power of the Daikokuten. Meanwhile, for Sasuke, it was officially confirmed in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 5, which was released in June. v-jump Issue #2 on December 20, 2023, that he was taken out by the code and made into a tree, serving the DNA for the creation of Hidari, one of the strongest characters in the entire series.
