The Five Elders, also known as Gorosei, are some of the most powerful people we've ever seen a pieceAnd they have played an important role in the final saga so far. While they have been lurking in the shadows for years, the latest saga has brought them out in a great way. In the Egghead arc, we got a fair look at the powers and abilities of the Five Elders, and it's safe to say that they are some of the most dangerous people in existence in the One Piece world.
The Five Elders were revealed to have the powers of various yokai and other mythical creatures. At this point, it is unclear if these abilities stem from the Devil Fruit or if they are the result of Nerona Emu's gift to the world of One Piece. While all of them are incredibly powerful, some creatures are stronger than others.

The Sandworm is a powerful mythical creature that exists in many pieces of fiction. It is an incredibly powerful creature that Saint Shepherd Zoo Peter can transform at will. A sandworm is a very large creature with a spotted head. The creature has the power to dig and attack enemies from below at incredible speeds. In the Egghead arc, Zoo Peter is seen attacking Sandworm to mine and then consume Luffy.
Zoo Peter also managed to swallow Luffy, and if it wasn't for the giants, Luffy would probably be dead. He also has great shrinking strength, which can tear through the defenses of some powerhouses. The powers of this creature have not been fully explored yet. As is the case with each member of the Five Elders, Shepherd Zu Peter also has a unique ability, but unfortunately, we won't see that until Oda goes into more detail about the battles on another island.

Saint Shani Gorosi is the one that fans have seen the most in the story so far. He was first seen arriving with the Marines in Egghead, and he used his Yokai powers from the get-go. Saint Shani can transform into Gyuki. This creature has the upper part of a bull and the lower part of a spider. Saint Shani has many powerful abilities. For one, Saturn can use the power to inflict invisible damage on his enemies. Furthermore, he can also pin down his enemies and prevent them from moving using this force, and this includes even stronger enemies such as Yonko Commanders.
Moreover, Shani has a powerful ability to coat himself with poison and attack others with this poison which can kill in one shot. If that wasn't enough, Saturn also has an incredible regeneration rate, but this regeneration is also driven by all members of the Elder. Clearly, Shani had great power; However, his performance against Luffy was definitely not good.

Itsumade

St. Athanbaron V. Nuszuro is a powerful man and possibly the strongest of the Five Elders. He has a number of incredible abilities up his sleeve, and, as seen in Egghead, he can transform into a bakotsu, which is like a horse skeleton from hell. This skeleton horse is quite large in size and, at the same time, also incredibly fast.
Nuszuro can also transform into his hybrid form like all other Elders, and when he takes this form he transforms into a centaur-like creature. With his sword in one hand, Nuszuro was able to slice through 25 Mark 3 Pacifists in the blink of an eye. He can also summon the chill of the underworld, an ability he shares with Brooke. Of course, the Bakotsu Yokai also have many other abilities that we haven't seen yet. However, so far this creature's speed is unmatched. Furthermore, the cold it attacks renders its opponents completely helpless, and that is certainly a very terrifying power.

Fengxi/Houki

Fengxi, also known as Houqi, is a monstrous creature resembling a large wild boar in Chinese mythology. Houki is known to hold great physical strength, possibly the highest of the Five Elders. At the same time, Houki also appears to have impenetrable skin, which prevents it from taking serious damage. In Egghead, Houki was able to counter Luffy's Red Rock, the same technique that knocked Kaido to the ground, causing him to bleed out. Houki can also use fire to a certain extent and is strong enough to hurt even Luffy in Gear 3.
Houki can turn his teeth into blades and attack enemies with them. These attacks are deadly enough to injure even powerful Yonko level opponents. On top of that, Warkari also had the ability to amplify his conqueror's Haki by using the power of yokai. It was seen being used against Luffy, and it completely ripped his clothes off, and blew everyone around. In fact, such was the power of his conqueror's hockey thunder that it even reached the marines, knocking out several members in the process.
