With its latest trailer, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 gives zombies fans every reason to believe that the Kowakuzo map will be an instant classic.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 04 Reloaded kicks off with new content
fresh of Black Ops 7 Season 4 officially rolled out on June 25 on both PC and consoles, marking the midpoint of the ongoing season. Highlights of the latest content drop include the Kowakuzo Zombies mode map, the Nick Cage event pass, and new weapons, as well as some balance changes and other innovations.
Kowakujo and its event awards are the main attraction Black Ops 7 Zombies offers players a unique setting modeled after a feudal Japanese castle in a volcanic area with a new map. Kowakuzo furthers the mode's ongoing story by sending the team after the last Shadowsmith, as well as the so-called “World Seed” McGuffin. Debuting on this map are several new mobs: Hellhounds, Scorched Zombies, and Oni. As usual, the developers added a new Wonder Weapon, with the patch notes describing it as “classified”. Early reports from Kowakujo players suggest that the weapon in question is a katana. Bombs shaped like maneki-neko, the traditional Japanese “lucky cat,” can also be found on the map.
Another headline addition is Nicolas Cage, who appears as Nick Cage Operator in the latest episode. Black Ops 7 event pass. The pass also includes the AN-94 Assault Rifle and the Executioner's Duet melee weapon. As previous leaks suggested, the character is modeled on a younger version of Cage, who is 62 years old in real life but appears to be in his late 30s or early 40s in the game. He has a long list of iconic action movies, while his Call of Duty The Operator is not based on any particular character, just played by Cage himself. The Nick Cage Event Pass will be available for just under a month, with July 23rd being the last day to work on it.
The Season 4 Reloaded patch notes also include a long list of weapon and attachment adjustments, including changes affecting the Maddox RFB, AK-27, Kogot-7, Warden 308, Grimhawk, and Voyak KT-3. This is similar to the way mid-season refreshes typically work, giving developers a way to introduce new content that can have unintended consequences while accommodating recent changes. Separately, Season 4 reloaded “Summer of Action,” the latter Black Ops 7 (and war zone) daily login event. The promo serves as a chance to stock up on consumables like Double XP Tokens and Pass Skips, offering more exclusive rewards like the “Catharsis” X9 Maverick Assault Rifle Weapon Blueprint.
