Complete Throne And Liberty Weapon Tier List
There are 21 unique combinations of the seven different weapons in Throne and Liberty. Traditionally, MMORPG’s follow the typical roles for each player, Tank, Healer, Melee DPS, Ranged DPS. While players are given the flexibility to choose whichever weapons they want, there are still some combinations that are better than others.
Players can freely swap out their weapons and skills as they see fit. However, this becomes harder to do in later stages of the game as upgrading a weapon and enchanting your equipment becomes costly. For this reason, it might make sense for players to know which weapon combinations to focus on before they start upgrading their weapons and skills.
Complete Throne And Liberty Weapon Tier List
Firstly, here’s a quick list of each weapon and its general role in the game.

For this Tier list, the criteria for each class’s tier placement take into consideration the following
- Damage
- Including single target, sustained, and area of effect damage. Speed and efficiency are crucial to ensuring the target goes down.
- Survivability
- How many hits can you take before need to retreat, alternatively, can you heal to compensate?
- Utility
- Crowd Control, damage buffs, damage mitigation, movement speed, etc. All the tools that make life easier.
Tier Lists are notoriously highly subjective and many players will have their own opinions on tier placement. This list is solely the opinion of the author and a more complete explanation of their placements will follow in the sections below.

S Tier Weapon Combos
These are the top performers for their roles in all types of content, the best of the best.
Class |
Weapons |
Reason |
---|---|---|
Crusader |
Sword + Greatsword |
The ultimate tank build, offering high durability, strong crowd control, and unmatched AoE farming potential. It excels in PvE content with its ability to boost health, reduce cooldowns, and increase party damage, making it essential for group activities and dungeon runs. |
Templar |
Templar ![]() Sword + Wand |
A versatile tanking build that excels in both durability and healing, allowing great sustain for both yourself and your team. While it deals less damage compared to other melee-focused builds, its high survivability and ability to provide support make it invaluable in group content and end-game dungeons. |
Invocator |
![]() Staff + Wand |
Performs strongly as a DPS with healing capabilities, making it ideal for group content and AoE farming. It excels in both PvE and PvP, with powerful, spammable AoE abilities capable of clearing out groups and unique survivability and defensive skills. |
A Tier Weapon Combos
A-Tier weapon combos have clearly defined roles and can excel at any types of content.
Class |
Weapons |
Reason |
---|---|---|
Liberator |
![]() Staff + Longbow |
A top-tier long-range DPS build, offering high damage output, AoE capabilities, and strong party buffs. It excels in both PvE and large-scale PvP, with powerful skills that synergize to reduce cooldowns and maximize damage, although it lacks defensive options in smaller PvP skirmishes. |
Seeker |
![]() Longbow + Wand |
Primarily acts as the classic healer with additional crowd control and team DPS boosts, making it ideal for dungeons. Its healing specializations allow for powerful burst and sustained healing, making it essential for both PvE and PvP content. While not as focused on damage, its utility and support capabilities make it highly valuable in group play. |
Scorpion |
![]() Crossbow + Daggers |
High single-target burst and sustained damage make it ideal for boss fights and clearing mobs with its powerful AoE. It leverages multi-hit attacks and Thundercloud stacks for explosive damage, making it one of the top choices for PvE. In PvP, it shines in small-scale battles, offering high mobility, stealth, and burst potential, allowing the capability to pick off low-health targets and escape quickly. |
Spellblade |
![]() Staff + Daggers |
Popular for its impressive damage output and mobility. The synergy between the Staff’s AoE skills and the Dagger’s passives leads to a smooth and effective experience, allowing players to clear content effortlessly. The Dagger’s speed and stealth allow you to quickly eliminate low-health targets and retreat when necessary, offering crucial mobility and evasion. |
Infiltrator |
![]() Longbow + Daggers |
A fast-paced assassin playstyle, allowing for high-damage combos and excellent mobility, and the ability to utilize stealth for surprise attacks, but it lacks AoE capabilities and may struggle against groups of enemies. It has consistent DPS and team buffs, making it a solid choice for most PvE content, though it lags behind the Bow/Staff combo in damage. |
Scout |
![]() Longbow + Crossbow |
Delivers consistent DPS with low-cooldown skills, allowing for a mobile hit-and-run playstyle or a stationary approach for maximum damage against high HP bosses. While it excels in PvE dungeons, providing strong DPS and cooldown reduction for the team, its effectiveness in PvP is limited due to a reliance on mid-range mobility and a lack of crowd control. |
Ravager |
![]() Greatsword + Daggers |
A highly offensive playstyle that has excellent burst damage and offers strong utility. This combo thrives in melee combat, leveraging mobility and multiple crowd control options to dominate in small-scale PvP, but may struggle in larger battles where it can be easily overwhelmed. |
B Tier Weapon Combos
These weapon combinations in B-Tier are all still competitive options but might miss out on a few key aspects.
Class |
Weapons |
Reason |
---|---|---|
Berserker |
![]() Sword + Daggers |
A solid tank option, but lacking the DPS and dual-role capabilities of higher-tier tanks. While it provides decent single-target crowd control and above-average damage, its effectiveness in PvE is limited due to low DPS potential. In PvP, however, the build benefits from increased tankiness, evasion, and mobility, making it a resilient choice. |
Battleweaver |
![]() Staff + Crossbow |
With strong burst potential and decent AoE damage, but a harder skill ceiling for sustained damage. The synergy between the Crossbow’s single-target damage and the Staff’s area damage makes it ideal for players who prefer to control zones from a distance, though low mobility can be a drawback. While it can shine in small-scale PvP, the contrasting ranges of the weapons may pose challenges for beginners. |
Darkblighter |
![]() Wand + Daggers |
Decent burst damage while offering multiple escape abilities and high survivability through self-healing. This support-focused build allows players to effectively harass enemies with crowd control and debuffs, making it suitable for open-world PvE content against low HP mobs. While it may lack the utility and damage output of other builds, its ability to adapt between ranged and melee playstyles is valuable in both large and small-scale PvP. |
C Tier Weapon Combos
The weapon combos in C Tier aren’t quite as competitive as higher-tiered combinations, but can still offer a nice playstyle.
Class |
Weapons |
Reason |
---|---|---|
Warden |
![]() Sword + Longbow |
This weapon combination allows for reliable long-range damage and some defensive utility, but its lack of synergy keeps it from being competitive. In both PvE and PvP, this combination falls short due to lower overall damage output and inadequate protection, making it a less favorable choice. |
Disciple |
![]() Staff + Sword |
Decent tanking and support but falls short in its low overall damage output. While it offers reliable crowd control and some utility, the conflicting ranges of the two weapons prevent effective synergy, making it less competitive in both PvE and PvP scenarios. |
Ranger |
![]() Greatsword + Longbow |
While both weapons can deal high damage, this combo struggles with synergy, making it a poor choice for new players focused on PvE. Their lack of complementary passives and conflicting playstyles result in weak damage output and low survivability. |
D Tier Weapon Combos
These combos miss the mark on key aspects of synergies and role fulfillment.
Class |
Weapons |
Reason |
---|---|---|
Sentinel |
![]() Staff + Greatsword |
While both weapons individually deal high burst damage, this combo ultimately falls behind others that have better synergies and complementary playstyles. Both weapons struggle with mobility and survivability. |
Raider |
![]() Sword + Crossbow |
Limited protection, damage, and AoE potential, it ultimately fails to shine in PvE environments. With minimal skill synergy and inadequate tankiness, this setup is best avoided in PvP, as it cannot fulfill the frontline role effectively. |
Paladin |
![]() Greatsword + Wand |
The conflicting playstyles hinder its overall effectiveness. On one hand, you’ll have bursts of damage and debuffs, on the other are healing and crowd control abilities. The combination ultimately suffers from poor overall damage output and insufficient mobility. Many of the other weapon combos are better suited for their roles. |
Fury |
![]() Crossbow + Wand |
Lack of synergy and utility in both healing and DPS roles, making it ineffective in PvE. While it can spam crowd control debuffs, it struggles with single-target burst damage and often fails to fulfill either role effectively, leading to challenges in maximizing DPS and healing potential. |
The various combinations in D-Tier here are mostly hybrid roles that don’t have a clear determined role that they can excel in. Sure it’s possible they could all find some strange niche role, however, it would simply be better to pair your favourite weapon of choice with any other weapon.
Ultimately, the class you choose to play in Throne and Liberty should align with your preferred playstyle. Whether you’re looking for burst damage, crowd control, powerful healing, or an unkillable tank, there’s a weapon combination out there for you. Don’t be afraid to mix it up and find your edge; dive in and experiment with different classes to discover what truly resonates with you.
