Thankfully, some of the weapons in this year's installment are absurdly powerful when they pack-a-punch. In this list, we'll cover ten of the best weapons you can use in CoD Zombies, taking into account Pack-A-Punch features and measuring difficulty to decide which guns shine above the rest.

Conventional ballistic weapons tend to perform poorly once you get to higher rounds, but the Model L performs much better than the rest of the AR and SMG roster. This is partly due to the weapon's high precision damage value. While it fires rather slowly for an assault rifle, the Model L has virtually no recoil and a high headshot multiplier for its class. If you can keep your weapon steady on the target's head, it will perform better.
Once you reach round 20, you need to push the Model L's DPS with Deadshot Daiquiri's boost and Triple Pack-a-Punch. Use cryo freeze ammo to freeze enemies in place, and you should be fine for low to mid 30s. After that point, you need an explosive gun or some kind of stun weapon, but that's a criticism with almost all ballistic weapons in BO6, not just the Model L.

The PP-919 may not be the strongest weapon for high rounds, but if you're looking for a powerful workhorse weapon for a 20-round match, this gun is well worth it. It is an SMG with excellent maneuverability and a large base magazine of 64 rounds. For some strange reason, the pack-a-yo punching weapon quadruple Its magazine size, increasing it to 256.

Combined with its high mobility, the PP-919 is an excellent weapon for crowd control. Throw bullets to chip into a crowd, quickly reposition, and repeat. Don't expect this weapon to compete with amazing weapons in the higher rounds.

The DM-10 may seem like a subpar weapon at first glance, but when you pack-a-punch it is when it really starts to shine. When upgraded this weapon gains a binary trigger, firing rounds as you pull and Release the trigger. This effectively doubles its fire rate, substantially increasing its burst DPS if you can keep your reticle on point. Throw in some recoil compensating attachments, and you have a solid workhorse weapon.

Mustang and Sally return in Black Ops 6 as GS45. When Pack-A-Punched, this pistol fires an explosive round that deals massive damage in a small area. Rate of fire and magazine size are very low, but damage growth is off the charts. If you need a gun to clear troops or shred armor, the GS45 is an excellent choice. Pack-a-punch it as soon as possible.

USAS-12 is in Black Ops 6, and it's nothing short of a threat. This gun's hipfire mode shreds fodder units, while ADS allows you to harden your fire spread to land headshots on larger enemies. The Pack-A-Punched version actually improves this, increasing your bullet size enough to spread during ADS. The ASG effectively turns into a slug launcher when you aim, so you can leverage critical multipliers from deadshot daiquiri to melt manglers and elite monsters.
If you need to carpet an area with lead, you can fire this weapon in a hipfire with little problem. It doesn't have as much range as a normal assault rifle or SMG, but anything that gets close to you won't survive.

For tough rounds where enemies start tanking, you can't go wrong with the SVD. This gun is the weakest sniper out of the box, but when Pack-A-Punched, this weapon fires three-round bursts that destroy Zombies. Fire this weapon in hipfire to treat it like a shotgun, or ADS to land triple headshots with each trigger pull. It destroys Maulers if you aim for the head, and is a solid choice for fighting elites.

We couldn't make a list of the best weapons without talking about surprise weapons. The DRI-11 Beamsmasher is the weakest surprise weapon of the bunch, but that's mostly due to its low ammo capacity. As an actual weapon, it is no lower than S-tier. Alt-fire slows down targets and greatly increases the precision damage they receive. Once debuffed, hold the trigger to fire a focused beam of energy.

This gun burns through ammo like nobody's business, but the slow property of alt-fire makes it absurdly good for crowd control alone. The laser itself isn't particularly strong compared to the game's stronger weapons, but it's serviceable for earlier rounds and against debuffed targets.

Black Ops 6 has one of the stronger variants of the original Ray Gun, an innocent-looking wonder weapon that fires explosive beams with every shot. It does great damage and covers a small AoE with each shot, making it perfect for clearing crowds and killing tough enemies evenly. The Ray Gun has so much base damage that it easily scales into the high 30s and low 40s without too much trouble.
In the event the gun stops pumping damage, it's great for creating crawlers and removing enemy armor.

If you used an anti-material rifle in Fallout: New Vegas and equipped explosive rounds, that effect will change when upgrading to LR 7.62. This bolt-action sniper deals massive damage on its own, but once packed-a-punch, each shot explodes into a massive explosion that can only be matched by dedicated launchers.
It only takes one bullet to clear an entire pack of zombies. If you need to kill a Mauler, just ADS and aim for the head. Throw in a PhD to use this weapon up close, and you have an absurdly strong weapon for almost any situation. And unlike the GS45, this weapon is much more ammo efficient.

You are unlikely to find a stronger weapon than the Jet Gun in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Treyarch has merged the Black Ops 2 Jet Gun with the original Thunder Gun in this installment, creating an absurdly powerful, screen-clearing weapon that has infinite ammo.
The primary fire for this weapon spits at zombies towards you, turning them into flesh if they hit the jet gun. While you're hovering, hold target input to detonate an AoE that's effectively a screen wipe. Zombies die instantly to it until round 40, and it doesn't break. Holster it, wait a few seconds, then repeat. Nothing comes close to the power of this weapon.
