Popular LEGO community account LGM Bricks is featuring a new official ET A release is planned for later in the summer. The set will include a complete statue of the titular ET holding a flower pot and making the famous pointing pose with his left thumb, with lights on both his chest and left thumb. While the LEGO Ideas set contains a total of 1,226 pieces and the statue will include batteries for the light-up elements, the package indicates that the statue requires watch batteries. LGM bricks confirm that ET The LEGO set will retail for $139.99, officially scheduled for release on August 1.

LEGO seems to have a lot on the way for the rest of the year between big crossovers and exciting new ideas. A recent leak suggested that LEGO is working on a unique Donkey Kong set, recreating one of the franchise's original arcade machines with a playable LEGO version of the classic game. LEGO is also rumored to launch its first crossover with the iconic Dragon Ball anime franchise, reportedly releasing Shenron's Diorama in November. LEGO fans should have plenty to look forward to with a variety of sets launching in the second half of 2026.
