The first is related to the upcoming shutdown Madden NFL 23Which will see its servers shut down for the last time on July 13th. With the 2027 edition set to be released in August, there have already been three games in the series, so this closure (unfortunately) makes sense. This will follow NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 and WWE 2K BattlegroundsBoth of which will lose online services on August 20. They're both saber interactive games that put an arcade spin on their respective games, so it's definitely a shame to see them go. There is a final game Warface: Clutchwhich goes offline on August 25, after being discontinued on PC earlier in May.

The degree to which these games remain playable will depend entirely on the specific title.
