Helldivers 2 update schedule and new roadmap
Speaking in an interview with GameSpot Hell Diver 2 Game director Mikael Eriksson shared a new update schedule for the game, which will see Arrowhead working to release new patches every two weeks to help dial in growing issues with performance, balance, and unwieldy file sizes. The game's dedicated player base has also expressed frustration with persistent complications, some of which have been hampering gameplay for months, leading Ericsson and Arrowhead to scale back ambitions to follow a planned content roadmap and instead lock in to diagnosing and fixing multiple issues. Ericsson noted that each patch aims to replicate recent fixes, one of which saw more than 200 bugs patched out in a single update.
