Cherry fish appear in spring on windy days. You can check the weather with the crystal ball furniture-item. If there is an image of a cherry blossom inside, it means that the next day will be windy with cherry blossoms. You can only catch cherry fish in ponds, so make your way to the southern part of East Road. There is a large pond where you can fish on the bridge, or you can fish in the pond in the bottom-right corner. Remember that you want to be on the lookout for small shadows. If you don't see any, leave the area and return the fish to “fresh”.

You can find leaf fish in the river on East Road in autumn during the windy season. There's only one river on The Eastern Road, and it's right at the bridge you repaired for one MistriaStory quests. Like the cherry fish, the leaf fish appears as a small shadow in the water.

The snow fish, as its name implies, is the legendary fish of winter, and it can be found in the ocean when it snows. You can cast your line in any body of water at the beach, but you'll want to be on the lookout for medium-sized shad. To cut down on the run from one end of the beach to the other, pick a spot along the shore and fish there. You can “fresh” sea fish by entering/exiting the tackle shop or The Beach.
Where to use legendary fish
Can you sell them?
You cannot sell legendary fish or keep them in fish tanks in your cabin. The only way to use legendary fish is to donate them to a museum. Once you've donned all four legendary fish, you'll receive one of the rewards for completing a set of Fish Wings. Depending on how many sets you complete before turning into a legendary fish, the contents will vary. You'll essentially get a new piece of furniture and a recipe for crafting it, as well as a treasure box. The more fish fin sets completed, the higher the quality of the treasure box.
