How to complete the Cure for Isaac quest in the Forge
To begin the treatment for Isaac quest ForgeYou need to travel to the Forgotten Kingdom and make your way to the Ruined Cave. You can get there by using the cannon on the west side, which will shoot you directly into the location.
Before exiting, make sure you meet the requirements:
- At least 10 levels
- Minimum 150 gold coins
When you talk to Isaac, he explains that he was attacked by creatures, possibly Reapers and Deathxe Skeletons. He managed to escape but his hand was badly injured. Because of the injuries and the bandages covering his skin, he cannot expose himself to sunlight and fears he will turn into one of the monsters. After agreeing to help him, you need to provide the health potion.
Although it sounds simple, the Forgotten Realms Apothecary sells Health Potion 2 for only 350 gold, Which is not what Isaac needs and won't work if you give it to him.
For the treatment of Isaac ForgeYou need to get Health Potion 1 from Cross Potion Shop in Stonewalk. Use your teleporter to return to the first island, then go to the medicine shop near the Sensei Moro NPC. Buy health potion 1 from witch Maria.
This potion briefly restores Isaac's health and costs 150 gold. Once you have it, return to Isaac and give him the potion. Doing so completes the healing Isaac quest, makes him feel better, and rewards you with an achievement badge.
As Isaac is a native of the Forgotten Kingdom, he has a deep knowledge of the land's past and secrets. After healing him, you can return to him at any time to hear short or long versions of the story of what happened on the ground and why the caves are full of monsters, helping you better understand the game's lore.
