Crowns are the main currency in Sand: Raiders of Sophie that players can use to purchase items from the shop and invest in upgrades from the Tech Tree. Players will need to start collecting Crowns early if they're hoping to progress their character as quickly as possible. This guide will share some of the best ways to farm Crowns (money) in Sand: Raiders of Sophie that'll help you anywhere from early to mid-game.
All the methods below can be followed in Voyage mode. So, you'll be able to stack up a decent amount of money before jumping into the more competitive Storm Drive mode. Sand: Raiders of Sophie.

How to Repair the Trampler in Sand: Raiders of Sophie
Tramplers can get damaged by both PvP and PvE encounters, and here's how players can repair them in Sand: Raiders of Sophie and avoid totaling it.
Looting Crowns and Valuables from Safes
One of the first ways to get money fast (Crowns) in Sand: Raiders of Sophie is to simply loot various Safes insidelandmark POIs. These safes mainly contain some Crowns (~200), valuables (trinkets), and valuable papers.
While the Crowns will just straight up get added to your bank after extraction, you'll need to Manually sell any valuables or documents that you retrieve from these safes in exchange for Crowns or other shop items.
These safes are abundant in landmarks and highly lucrative, especially higher-rarity ones. Hitting these while you're exploring from location to location will easily start filling up your in-game wallet back at the base. That is, if you manage to safely extract it from a match.
Another item you should keep an eye out for when you're looting at major landmarks is the box with a Radio Beacon. If you're near a box, you'll hear a subtle beeping sound that you can follow to get to one. These work like the “Athena's Chest” in Sea of Thievesas the moment you pick up the box, it'll mark its location on the map for everyone.
While things are much more tame and friendly in Voyage mode, this could pose a real problem in Storm Drive mode. But if you manage to extract the box with Radio Beacon, you'll be able to sell it for 2000 Crowns at the base.
From the moment you pick up the first box with Radio Beacon, you'll have a total of 2 hours to extract it. If you fail to do so, that box will become obsolete. So, it's recommended to pick up as many Radio Beacon Boxes as you can before the time on the first one runs out to maximize your profit per match.
So, here's how you can farm money (crowns) in Sand: Raiders of Sophie using this method:
-
Head to a Landmark (POI)
-
Search for the Radio Beacon Box and pick it up.
-
Load it onto your ship and head to another landmark.
-
Keep repeating the process until you've stacked at least three to four Radio Beacon Boxes, or time is running out on one of the boxes.
-
Quickly extract at the nearest evacuation point.
-
Sell the boxes with Radio Beacons for 2000 Crowns each.
Looting Shipwrecks
If you're in hostile lobbies and get attacked while looting bigger landmarks, why not check out the Shipwrecks and start small? The desert of Sophie is littered with shipwrecks as far as the eye can see. Instead of heading for the larger POIs on the map, focus on clearing out these shipwrecks.
You'll find resources like ammo for cannons, fabrics, threads, weapons, and even valuables in these shipwrecks. Since Voyage mode has an unlimited timer, you can easily loot these shipwrecks to your heart's content. They are the safest and least contested places where you can find loot, so you'll be out of danger from other players.
As soon as you approach a Shipwreck in Sand: Raiders of Sophiemake sure to turn off your engine/reactor. This will prevent other players from spotting you from a distance via the smoke your Trampler is emitting.
Farming Raw Aurogen Crystals
While exploring the rocky areas of the desertyou'll come across large crystal formations that you can easily spot from a distance. These are Aurogen Crystal deposits, and these can be farmed if you're looking to get more crowns fast Sand: Raiders of Sophie.
When you finally spot one, shoot a cannon shell at it, and it'll explode. After the explosion, head to the location where it once stood, and you'll find it Raw Aurogen Crystal in its place. As soon as you pick it up, it'll start depleting your health bar since it's radioactive. So, make sure to quickly get it to your Trample and store it on the shelf.
There are usually multiple Aurogen Crystal deposits in rocky areas of the deserts, so you can easily farm several of them before extracting them. Once you've extracted it back to base, you can sell each Raw Aurogen Crystal for 500 Crowns each.
