The news is a few days ago but the bump has not gone live yet. The price increase will take place on May 25 in Japan, and on September 1 in the US, Canada and Europe. The price will be $50 more than before, which will definitely be felt, and the console will go from $449.99 to $499.99. What follows is that the console is now likely to be in high demand by the end of August 2026.
