New Lorcana Illumineer's Quest Stars Popular Hunny Wizard Winnie The Pooh

The hugely popular Winnie the Pooh Hunny Wizard card from Disney Lorcana's Fabled set is back, but this time as part of the dedicated Illumineer's Quest set.

This co-op adventure was previously revealed on game shows, but not in an official capacity like it is now. Joining the likes of Palace Heist and Ursula's Return, The Great Honey Escape will look to expand the lore of the Hundred Acre Wood's other characters, the Honey Wizard. We already have the release window and price, thanks to the Wilds Unknown Lorecast, but we still don't know what the contents of the box are.

Winnie the Pooh Honey Wizard Illuminator's Quest Revealed.

Winnie the Pooh, Honey Wizard is still one of the most expensive cards in the Fabled set, and its adorable, yet fierce artwork saw the card's popularity boom the moment Fabled launched last year.

Now, we're getting Illumineer's Quest, a game dedicated to expanding the lore of the Honey Wizard and other famous friends in a non-competitive setting from the Hundred Acre Wood of the Hundred Acre Wood. Based on the box art alone, we can see Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Owl and Rabbit. Sadly, no sign of Kanga or Roo for now.

It has a release date of October 2026 (though no specific date yet) and an MSRP of $59.99. It's not specifically linked to any set that we know of, as it will be released after Invasion of the Vine but before Hyperia City (we assume).

How Illumineer's Quests Work

Unboxing Palace Heist

Illumineer's Quest is a co-op or solo adventure game where you play against a default deck using your own Disney Lorcana deck or one of the two pre-made decks provided in the box.

It's a great way to introduce new players to Lorcana without interfering with the competitive side of the game and instead allows players to focus on learning the mechanics, modding structures, and most importantly, having fun.

If you've ever tried to teach someone how to play a TCG while playing against them, you know how awkward it can be. Illumineer's Quest sets are a great way to get around this while providing a challenge for players of all skill levels.

Just like in Palace Heist and Ursula's Revenge, there are also difficulty levels to challenge yourself as you get along with the game.

If you're looking for ways to test out new decks but don't have a second player to join, Illumineer's Quest games also serve as a great way to test if your builds are ready to take to your local game store for more competitive action.
