with a piece Currently at the climax of the Elbaf arc and the prelude to the Great War, the God Devil Fruits are finally being set up by series creator Eiichiro Oda. In the most recent a piece Chapter 1182, published in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #24As it officially came out on May 10, 2024, Eiichiro Oda set up another major God Devil Fruit by introducing us to Rain God Zaza.
Before the introduction of Zaza, Oda established Sun God Nik in the final saga, shortly before the final saga of the story. Now that Rain God Zaza has been established, that in itself confirms Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Zaza's existence in the world of One Piece. Interestingly, by analyzing the various arcs and character themes, I've speculated that Hito Hito no Mi Model: Zaza is likely to move on to the Straw Hat Pirates as the final member of his force who will join at some point after the conclusion of the final battle in Elbaf.
One Piece Chapters 1182 and 287 Set up Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Zaza As The Next Straw Hat Devil Fruit
In the existence of god devil fruit a piece At one point in the story we were all skeptical. When One Piece first started exploring the powers of Devil Fruits, mainly in the Grand Line, Devil Fruit abilities were still very basic, and I couldn't even imagine seeing divine powers. However, in the final saga, Eiichiro Oda has already introduced some godlike abilities. It all started with the Wano Country arc, specifically from Chapter 1044, which was officially released on March 28, 2022 in Shueisha Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #17. In this chapter, it was revealed that Monkey D. Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Mi was originally Hito Hito no Mi: Mo Nidel. As soon as this Devil Fruit was revealed, many other fans and I immediately connected it to the big reveal in the Skypea arc, especially Chapter 287. In One Piece Chapter 287, Eiichiro Oda officially introduced us to the Four Gods of the World, and these are, the Sun God, the God for Earth, and the God for Earth.
“Sun god, rain god, forest god, earth god, please take this woman's blood and save our village from disaster.” – Shandian Elder in One Piece Chapter 287
With the introduction of the sun god, the possibility of other gods becoming real arose. Now, in One Piece chapter 1182, Eiichiro Oda officially introduces Rain God Zaza to fans through Rimoshifu Killingham's Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin. With that, it's now essentially confirmed that there exists Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Zaza in one piece somewhere in the world.
It has not yet borne the fruit of Satan, meaning that no one has access to its power. But, now that it has been established by the author, someone is likely to catch it soon. Based on Killingham's own comments from chapter 1182, it is very likely that it belongs to an enemy of the World Government, especially since chapter 1044 confirms that the Zoan Devil Fruits have their own will. The Rain God Zaza Devil Fruit has an innate desire to oppose the World Government and stand on the enemy's side, and at the same time, help the Sun God Nica.
“It's like the Devil Fruit is trying to escape our grasp, and it could very well be. Joan Fruits have a will of their own, and this particular fruit bears the name of God. Gum Gum is another name for the fruit… Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika.” — The Five Elders in One Piece Chapter #1044

One Piece officially sets the Three God Devil Fruits after the Elbaf arc
The Elbaf arc has set up the appearance of three new Devil Fruits with divine powers in One Piece.
Why Zaza is a Straw Hat ally in The Last Saga
Killingham's comments are the main reason why the Rain God Zaza became an enemy of the World Government and Nerona Emu. He, along with Somers, said in a piece Chapter 1182 That when they were children, they were told stories of the existence of the Rain God who would flood the lower world with water and flood everything. All the Celestial Dragons fear the Rain God Zaza, just as they fear the Sun God Nika and Dee's people. This officially establishes the Rain God Zaza as the enemy of the Celestial Dragons and Nerona Emu.
We were born in a very high place, above all the rain clouds. Is it raining from the sky? It is a mysterious terror! After D and Nika's people, it was the most common boogeyman they warned us… that in the lower world, there is a monster called the Rain God who will throw rain on your head! – St. Killingham, A Fragment Chapter 1182
At the same time, combining this with the statement of the Five Elders having their own desire for Joanne Devil Fruits, we can be sure that the Rain God Jaza Devil Fruit will be someone against the World Government, which would make the Rain God an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates in the coming Great War. Better yet, this Devil Fruit might as well belong to the Last Straw Hat, and that is none other than Nefertari Vivi.

Nefertari Vivi is a prime candidate to harness Zaza's power as the final straw hat
Currently, Nefertari is the prime candidate to consume the power of Vivi Hito Hito No Me, Model: Zaza. Vivi has long been set up by Eiichiro Oda to become a straw hat. When Vivi parted ways with the Straw Hat Pirates in Chapter 216, she clearly stated that she wanted to reunite with the Straw Hat Pirates one day, setting up a reunion and rejoining her team. At the same time, One Piece officially recognizes Vivi as an honorary member of the Straw Hat Pirates, and as such, she is likely to join the crew.
“I'm going to stay here. But, if we meet again, will you still call me your ship-mate?” — Nefertari Vivi, One Piece Chapter #216
More importantly, at the beginning of the Elbaf arc, specifically in Chapter 1130, which officially came out in Shueisha Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #47 on October 21, 2024, Vivi sends a direct message to Monkey D. Luffy, setting up a reunion in the Final Saga.
“When Luffy transforms into his free form, is that X mark visible on his hand? It looks unnatural to me. His hand looks blurry but the mark is crystal clear.” – Nico Robin analyzing Vivi's message to Luffy, One Piece Chapter #1130
My biggest problem with Vivi rejoining the team is that she is too weak. However, if she consumes Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Zaza, the power loss will be completed. Why Vivi Hito is the most likely candidate for Hito no Mi, Model: Zaza, the reason is quite simple. The Rain God Zaza comes through a prayer for rain, which Killingham officially confirmed in Chapter 1182. There is only one country in the world that is desperate for rain, and that is Arabia. As such, in the past, this devil fruit probably belonged to someone from Arabia, possibly the Nefertari lily.
Appearing to the rhythm of a prayer for rain… the rain god Jaja! – St. Killingham, One Piece Chapter #1182
Furthermore, in Japanese, Vivi is described as “mizuiro hime,” or “blue-haired princess.” The theme of mizu (water) and blue is directly linked to both Nefertari Vivi and Rain God Zaza. The peacock, representing blue and water, is also her spirit animal and symbol, and all signs point to her being directly tied to this ability. If there's one person in the world of One Piece for whom it makes sense to be a Devil Fruit, it's definitely Vivi. If Vivi joins the crew with the power of the Zaza Devil Fruit, she will become the second god power wielder within the ranks of the Straw Hat Pirates.
It should be noted that there are also interesting ideas that suggest that the chopper is a forest god, suggesting that a divine alliance will be formed in the ranks of the Straw Hat Pirates against Nerona Emu, the king of the world. In any case, the Straw Hat Pirates will likely gain more godly abilities as the story continues, and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.
