The biggest standout from episode 1159 was the identity of the Sun God. In the latter half, it was revealed that the Straw Hats had undergone sleeping mists, which put them all into a deep sleep. At that time the sun god's crow brought them with a thousand sunnies. The bird delivered a giant to the crew who became a member of the new giant warrior pirates.
The nameless demon seemed to hate humans as they considered them weak. He was also not happy that Hazruddin swore an oath to Luffy, whom he considered weak. As a result, the giant decided to toy with the crew, and he did so by keeping them inside the block state.
It is highly likely that no one other than Elbaf knows about the unknown giant's hobby, which is why he is able to treat people in such a horrible way. Thankfully, he got his comeuppance.

The Block State “arc” was interesting but slow
With Episode 1159, the mini-arc focused on the Block Kingdom came to an end. While it was definitely interesting, the overall pacing was slow, and at times it felt like a chore to watch the episodes. Fans may remember that the Elbaf arc is adapting one chapter per episode, and, while this generally feels acceptable, recent episodes would feel much better if they covered multiple chapters at once.
Hopefully, the upcoming episodes won't feel like slow burn-out. The animation was on point, and Toei proved once again that it always delivers when it's an important segment.
The Straw Hat Pirates are already on their way to their next adventure
In the preview for One Piece Episode 1160, Luffy and his group can be seen walking through a snowy terrain. The preview also reveals that Luffy himself decides to investigate the source of an ominous roar. While the narrator does not mention the origin of the voice, it may be Loki's voice. The prince's name was mentioned in the Whole Cake Island arc. Big Mom reveals that if Loki and Lola were married, she would conquer the world. Unfortunately for him, Lola had other plans. He decided to live his life by running away from the big mother. In the upcoming episode, fans will get to see Loki for the first time, and they will learn some new details about him.
The other Straw Hats who were traveling with the Giant Warrior Pirates will also be introduced in episode 1159. In the preview, Frankie, Jimbei, Brooke and Robin can be seen with Dory and Broggy's team. It is likely that they have arrived at Elbaf, and their next event will be to find their companions. After all, they haven't heard a peep about their goodness.
