Hazard's backstory and association with The Freaks
Although Hazard's debut trailer is short, it confirms previous hints that Hazard and Moira are connected via a vanadium isotope in Moira's lab. Initially discovered by the Venture's Wayfinder Society in Petra, it was given to Oasis University to study. After it falls into Moira's hands after a series of events, Hazard and Freaks break into the Ministry of Genetics to steal a ferrofluid sample.

However, it does not appear that the theory that Freaks are mutants militates against Moira's use. Instead, Hazard enrolled at a prestigious school in Scotland as his family faced various financial problems. After enlisting in the army in hopes of paying his tuition, A Overwatch The jet is gunned down and crashes into a building, resulting in Hazard being crushed under the rubble. In an accident, he loses both his legs and arms, which are then replaced by cybernetics. Although Commander Morrison, who Soldier: Known as 76, tries to reassure the affected, Hazard believes that the system has failed him and decides not to trust him anymore.
Later, a mechanic, part of a criminal group known as the Freaks, modifies his cybernetic enhancements. Hazard joins the organization in search of a new family and is inspired by their new mission to overthrow the old system. In the Hazzard's Hero trailer, he is seen injecting vanadium into his cybernetics, which makes him strong enough to fight through security and escape with his friends.
potential capabilities of the threat
With that in mind Overwatch 2Threat is set to be playable during a test weekend, November 22 to November 25, Blizzard will reveal its ability kit soon. From what players have seen so far, he is equipped with a hand cannon, a scythe, and amethysts that are presumably used as projectiles. Some players speculate that his ultimate ability may involve the projectile rain seen around 1:43 in the trailer, which could take the form of an AoE ability that damages and knocks back those within its range.
As a potential melee tank, he could share similarities with other tanks in the roster, with a jumping slam like Doomfist, melee abilities like Reinhardt, and a slow-firing shotgun like Roadhog's scrap gun. Based on the information, he seems to thrive in close combat situations, meaning season 13 meta compositions like Brigitte and Juno should pair well with him. Lucio's speed boost ability will also greatly benefit Hazard.
Hazard will be a permanent addition to the line-up starting in Season 14. Players should expect Hazard's kit to be tweaked between his Hero Trials and the official introduction of the hero-shooter. Debuting on December 10, coincides with his arrival Overwatch 26v6 playtests, the Winter Wonderland annual event, balance changes, and many more exciting additions.
