Rayman Legends Retold Launch Edition will be very limited

Ubisoft France has claimed that the amazing limited launch edition of Rayman Legends Retold will be sold for one day only and in very “limited quantities”.

It's been a long time since Rayman fans got so excited, but 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for everyone's favorite limbless hero. Not only are we getting a 30th anniversary edition of the game that started it all, but we're also being treated to a complete remake of one of Rayman's best adventures that will hopefully usher in a new era for the series.

Aside from it being really nice to see Ramon get the spotlight again, it's been refreshing to see how much care and attention Ubisoft has put into his return. A great example of this is the beautiful physical projection version of Legends Retold, which seems to be very hard to come by once the game is released.

Taking the launch version very literally there

As pointed out by Twitter user RaymanForSmash and originally reported by Nintendoros, Ubisoft France recently shared a glimpse at the launch version of Rayman Legends Retold. For those who don't know, the launch edition comes with a unique box, a map of the Glade of Dreams, three lithographs, and an exclusive Hoodlum Havoc skin pack.

Alongside the unboxing video, Ubisoft France confirmed in a follow-up tweet that the launch version of Rayman Legends Retold will take its name very literally, staying in stores for “one day” and in “limited quantities”. It's worth noting that this specifically refers to the launch version, as the base version of the game will be sold like any other title.

Still, it looks like the best version of Rayman Legends Retold since the game might be a little hard to find, especially in actual game stores after launch. As of the time of writing, it still seems to be in stock everywhere, but there's no telling how long that will last, especially when people realize that this might be the last Rayman game released on disc.
