South Vale (East) – All Memos
Memo #1 – Flower Shop Message
The 1st memo can be found once players enter Silent Hill on the East Side of South Vale. Head into the Flower Shop where the memo will be waiting for them on the front desk.
Memo #2 – Matchbook
After fighting the first Lying Figure enemy, head out of the house and walk across Martin Street. Beside a corpse on the ground will be the 2nd memo.
Memo #3 – Martin Street Note
After picking up the Matchbook and walking across Martin Street, players will quickly find the 3rd memo.
Memo #4 – Neely’s Bar Note
Neely’s Bar is located at the cross between Neely Street and Sanders Street, and the 4th memo is found on the bar surface.
Memo #5 – Small Note
On Saul Street, players will want to enter Saul Street Apartments and move the shelf that blocks their path to the main office. Once inside, the 5th memo can be found on the desk.
Memo #6 – Tenant’s Note
Heading up to 2F of Saul Street Apartments, players can use the crawlspace at Apartment 7 to enter a new room, where the 6th memo will be sitting by an open window.
Memo #7 – Old Map
After Saul Street Apartments, head left and then South on Saul Street to find a corpse that holds the 7th memo.
Memo #8 – Saul Street Note 1
Following from the Old Map memo, players can find the 8th memo, Saul Street Note 1, on the ground still on Saul Street.
Memo #9 – Saul Street Note 2
Like a breadcrumb trail, players who have picked up Saul Street Note 1 can find Saul Street Note 2 just after it, leading into a yard with a motor home to provide them with the 9th memo.
Memo #10 – Saul Street Note 3
Just in front of the motor home on Saul Street, there is the 10th memo.
Memo #11 – Motor Home Note
Head inside the motor home to find the Motor Home Note sitting on a table, providing the 11th memo.
Memo #12 – Big Jay’s Note
Head up to Neely Street, where between Katz Street and Martin Street there will be Big Jay’s. Inside Big Jay’s there will be the 12th memo on a table.
Memo #13 – Record Store Note
Follow Neely Street up to Groovy Music, a store that can be accessed to which the 13th memo will be sitting on the counter on the left.
Memo #14 – Sanders Street Note
Walking through Sanders Street, players can spot an abandoned truck. To the right side of this truck there is a corpse that holds the 14th memo.
Memo #15 – Code Note
Also at the abandoned truck on Sanders Street, players can find the 15th memo on the left side of the truck.
Memo #16 – Texan Café Flyer
Venture along Katz Street to find the entrance to Wood Side Apartments. To the left of the entrance will be a flyer pinned to a wooden panel, which can be interacted with for the 16th memo.
Memo #17 – Barrier Note
Continue along the path of Katz Street to reach the dead end, where a wall of cloth covers the way forward. Beside the dead end will be a deceased enemy, where players can pick up the 17th memo from its body.
Memo #18 – Back Room Letter
After completing the Jukebox Puzzle, players will receive the Neely’s Bar Key that they can use to open the locked door in Neely’s Bar. Doing so will allow them to push a metal cart to a wall, and climb through to another room where the 18th memo is found on a desk.

Wood Side Apartments – All Memos
Memo #19 – Administration Note
While in the Wood Side Apartments 1F, head under the stairs that take players to 2F to find a bunch of mailboxes. Inside the mailboxes will be the 19th memo.
Memo #20 – Strange Note
Once players have access to 3F, they will be able to go through a gap in the wall in Room 311, which will take them to Room 309. Exit out of Room 309 through the gap in the wall and turn right to find a small room with a desk, where inside the desk drawer will be the 20th memo.
Memo #21 – Sinister Note
Enter into Room 310 and use the balcony to climb through to Room 312. In Room 312 there will be a Sinister Note to the left of the door, which is the 21st memo.
South Vale (West) – All Memos
Memo #22 – Reception Desk Note
After the Rosewater Park section with Maria, head to Jacks Inn where in the reception office there will be the 22nd memo pinned to the noticeboard.
Memo #23 – Toolbox Memo
Head up the stairs at Jacks Inn to access the motel rooms. Players will want to break the glass at Room 108 and break through the wall to enter Room 107, where they can find the 23rd memo on the desk.
Memo #24 – Bloody Note
At the end of Nathan Avenue past Pete’s Bowl-O-Rama and the Silent Hill Historical Society, players will find a dead end as well as a corpse in the middle of the road that holds the 24th memo.
Brookhaven Hospital – All Memos
Memo #25 – Key Locker Note
Head left after entering the Brookhaven Hospital 1F Lobby and enter into the Reception area, where the 25th memo will be found on a noticeboard.
Memo #26 – Nurse’s Memo
Head through the Lobby to Exam Room 3, which can be accessed by smashing the glass. Head into the room to the right of Exam Room 3 and inside a desk drawer there will be the 26th memo.
Memo #27 – Staff Memo
After accessing Brookhaven Hospital 2F with the elevator, head to the Nurses Station to pick up the 27th memo that is taped to the window.
Memo #28 – Interview Transcript
Entering Room C1, players can find a poster on the wall that can be interacted with. Tearing it down will reveal the 28th memo hidden behind it.
Memo #29 – Evaluation Card, Patient #0130
Enter the Director’s Office where in the back-right corner of the room there will be a dusty shelf holding the 29th memo.
Memo #30 – Evaluation Card, Patient #0090
Also in the Director’s Office in the back-right corner is the 30th memo.
Memo #31 – Evaluation Card, Patient #0050
The final Evaluation Card is found with the other two, providing players with the 31st memo in the Director’s Office.
Memo #32 – Scribble Note
Follow through Brookhaven Hospital until James falls between the walls of the building. Venture through the crawlspace and discover the 32nd memo on the floor to the left.
Memo #33 – Keypad Combination Note
After going through 1F’s Garden, Greenhouse, and Pool, players can cross through into the Doctor’s Lounge, where the 33rd memo will be pinned to a noticeboard.
Memo #34 – X-Ray Memo
Head up to 2F where a staircase in the north-west area will take players to 3F. Once on the third floor, smash the glass of Exam Room 5 and venture through to enter the X-Ray Room, where beside an X-ray scan will be the 34th memo.
Memo #35 – Treatment Room Note
The Nurses Station Keypad can be solved with the Keypad Combination Note, and the passcode itself is used on 2F in the Treatment Room. Inside the Treatment Room, to the right, is the 35th memo.
Memo #36 – Safe Note
After solving the Director’s Office puzzle, players will be able to pick up the Rooftop Key and the 36th memo from inside the safe that opens up.
Memo #37 – Page From A Diary
Now on the rooftop, head into the small room with the double doors and pick up the 37th memo that lays waiting on the ground.
Memo #38 – Evaluation Card, Patient #3141
After the Flesh Lip boss fight, players will now be in an Otherworld version of the Brookhaven Hospital. The 38th memo can be found in the wheelchair of the Dayroom, right where players regain control.
Memo #39 – The Procedure
After visiting the Chained Box, head to the left of the map to take the staircase up to 3F. Where the X-Ray Room is, players can find the 39th memo on the operating table.
Memo #40 – Calendar Page
When back in 2F at the Chained Box, head south to the Restroom and use the metal cart to access Room L1. From here, follow the corridor to use the breakable wall in Room M3 and enter Room M2, where on the floor will be the 40th memo.
Memo #41 – Patient’s Note
Opposite the Director’s Office in 2F, players can then break a wall to push a metal cart to Room L3. Entering Room L3 will allow players to access the Observation Room, and in the top left of that room will be the 41st memo on a metal tray on a bed.
Memo #42 – Manic Scribble
Head into the Director’s Office with the Director’s Office Key found in the Observation Room and then pick up the 42nd memo found on a drawer to the right of the ladder.
Memo #43 – Nurse’s Note
After climbing the ladder in the Director’s Office, players will be in Room 17 of 3F, where the 43rd memo can be picked up from the back-right corner.
Memo #44 – Director’s Note
In 3F, follow the red wire going from the Generator to locate the crawlspace that takes players into the Restroom where the 44th memo can be located.
Memo #45 – Disassociated Note
A cutscene in the Doctor’s Lounge of 1F will allow players to then head into the Locker Room, where the 45th memo is found lying on a bench.
Memo #46 – Ominous Note
With the Copper Ring and Lead Ring placed onto the statue of the woman in 2F, players can enter inside and up the stairs to find the 46th memo.
Memo #47 – Note on a Map
After a fatal incident in Brookhaven Hospital, players will be in the Otherworld version of South Vale. Players will want to reach the East Side of South Vale to the motor home where they can find the 47th memo on the table.
Memo #48 – Letter
After picking up the ringing phone from the phone booth outside the American Café between Neely Street and Martin Street in the East Side of South Vale, players will automatically have the 48th memo, the Letter, added to their inventory.
Toluca Prison – All Memos
Memo #49 – Gun Cabinet Notice
For the 49th memo, players need to finish the cutscene with Eddie in the Canteen and then enter into the Armory. Besides the locked gun cabinet with the Rifle, players can find the Gun Cabinet Notice.
Memo #50 – Family Photo
Once players make it to the Headless Serpent area with the Death Row Serpent Section, they can head through the Guardsroom to reach Cell E4 for the 50th memo.
Memo #51 – Guard’s Letter
Enter into the Hornless Ox room through the scales and weights puzzle and go up the staircase, following the left-most corridor to find the 51st memo pinned to the wall beside a door.
Memo #52 – Threatening Note
After finding the Block D Key, head into Block D’s Cell D5 where players can find the Shiv Key and the Threatening Note, which will be their 52nd memo.
Memo #53 – Paranoid Note
The 53rd memo is located through Cell C4 with the use of the Shiv Key, where players will enter into a crawlspace and find the memo laying on a rusted pipe.
Memo #54 – Crumpled Note
Continuing on the path past the Paranoid Note, head through the Toilets and into the Changing Room where the 54th memo can be found on a bench.
Memo #55 – Prisoner’s Letter
Open the Blinded Boar door to enter the Administrative Section / Boar Section of 1F and enter the Visitation Room to find the Prisoner’s Letter, the 55th memo, stuck to the last booth.
Memo #56 – Unfinished Report
Still in the Administrative Section, head up through to the Infirmary where in the back room (North), players can find the 56th memo on a desk.
Memo #57 – Confession
Enter into the Wingless Dove door to access the Toluca Prison Lower Levels, and in the Prison Basement players will need to use the electric panel to supply power to Cell F6. Head into Cell F6 and after picking up the Lightest Weight, the Confession memo will appear on the wall in the cell, providing the 57th memo.
Lakeview Hotel – All Memos
Memo #58 – Cleaning Staff Memo #1
After entering the Lakeview Hotel, head straight forward to go down the stairs into the Basement, where the 58th memo will be on a desk in the Utility Room which is to the left.
Memo #59 – Receptionist Memo
To the right of the lobby is the Check-In room which holds a save feature and on the reception desk, the Receptionist Memo, the 59th memo.
Memo #60 – Laura’s Letter
Laura’s Letter is automatically given to the player after a cutscene with Laura that is triggered when entering the Lake Shore Restaurant on floor 1F.
Memo #61 – Lost & Found Note
Through the left of the lobby, enter into Café Toluca and go through the breakable wall. This takes players to the Lost & Found area where the 61st memo can be found on a shelf.
Memo #62 – Photo #1
After solving the Bookcase Puzzle in the Reading Room in 2F, players can head inside the secret room to pick up the 62nd memo from the bed.
Memo #63 – Photo #2
Also in the secret room is the 63rd memo, which is also on the same bed as Photo #1.
Memo #64 – Photo #3
The 64th memo is located by the bed where Photo #1 and Photo #2 were found, on the set of drawers with the black telephone.
Memo #65 – Cleaning Staff Note #2
After gaining access to the western wing of 2F, players can now head upstairs to 3F where the 65th memo will be waiting in the Conference Room by the fireplace.
Memo #66 – Cleaning Staff Note #3
After acquiring the key for Room 107, head there to find the 66th memo sitting on a dusty table beside the black telephone.
Memo #67 – Keypad Numbers Memo
After solving the Gem Box Puzzle in the Manager’s Office during the Employee Section in 1F, players will automatically pick up the Keypad Numbers Memo, which marks the 67th memo.
Memo #68 – Burned Note
After a cutscene with Angela in the Employee Section of 1F, head into the Otherworld version of the Manager’s Office to find the 68th memo on the desk.
