It seems like only yesterday that PlayStation officially revealed the PS5 Pro, confirmed that it would cost $700, and the video game world went into meltdown. Despite the confusing response to the Pro Console's price announcement, you can almost guarantee that it's going to be difficult to get your hands on one. Good news There will be at least two opportunities to pre-order the PS5 ProFirst via PlayStation Direct, and then again at major retailers.
Part one of the PS5 Pro pre-order saga takes place today. If you are reading this in North America, Pre-orders for the upgraded PlayStation console will go live at 10 a.m. EST. Pre-orders seem to have gone awry as the console is already available in other parts of the world, opening in Australia and New Zealand. What I'm trying to say is if you're in the US, fear not as some people have already secured their PS5 Pro pre-orders. Your time comes at 10pm EST.

The design of the PS5 Pro is similar to the slimmer model of the base PS5. It's almost identical, in fact, the only obvious difference being the three black stripes down the middle of its cover. It will also come with a DualSense controller Just like the regular PS5. If you want a pro, it doesn't matter. It has changed internally. For starters, The Pro has a 2TB SSD. That's more than twice the storage space of a base PS5, or about two Call of Duty Black Ops 6s, presumably.

PlayStation 5 Pro
The PS5 Pro is a mid-gen upgrade for PlayStation's PS5. Its design is almost identical to the slimmer model of the regular PS5, the Pro promises visual improvements for several key games and also has a 2TB SSD, which doubles the storage space of the regular PS5.
All that extra storage is more welcome than ever when the size of the game balloons out of control. That's not the main reason people will be interested in buying the PS5 Pro, though. This is how well the selection of games will look on the console, and PlayStation has provided a list of great looking games On its Pro console earlier than ever. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth seems to be the game getting the most praise, but everything listed below will be upscaled for the PS5 Pro and look better than ever.
PlayStation games that will look great on PS5 Pro
- Demon spirits
- Final fantasy 7 rebirth
- Our last part 2 remastered
- Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
- Gran Turismo 7
- The Last of Us Part 1
- Horizon Forbidden West
- until the morning
- Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
The finer details of how the PS5 Pro is better than the regular PS5 will start to become clear in the coming weeks as people finally get a chance to get their hands on them. The problem is, if you're waiting to hear more about all of them, pre-orders are almost certainly sold out. On the bright side, unlike the Pro's 30th anniversary edition, the regular edition isn't limited to 12,300 units. This means that there will be more stock in the future, there is no telling when it will be. If you're hoping to secure a PS5 Pro for the holidays, you'll need to get in the pre-order queue.
