Dragon Ball Super officially set up the strongest villain in shonen anime history
Dragon Ball Super sets up the most powerful villain, not only in Dragon Ball, but possibly anime and manga history.
Big Monkey: Vegeta
Vegeta can control himself in his large ape while Goku never could
Goku hasn't turned into a great ape since the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament, so he wasn't able to master the form like other Saiyans. An elite soldier who has fought life-or-death battles since childhood, Vegeta can fully control his Great Ape transformation, allowing him to use the form's 10x power multiplier while remaining conscious.
When Goku and Vegeta fight in the Saiyan Saga, the Great Ape Vegeta completely overwhelms Goku and breaks every bone in his body. He is also smart enough to dodge Krillin's Destructo Disc and would have killed the Z-Fighters if Yajirob hadn't sneaked his tail and attacked. At his strongest, Great Ape Goku never surpassed the four-digit power level.
Super Saiyan 1: Goku
Goku mastered SSJ1, but Vegeta never did
Goku is the ultimate master of Super Saiyan 1. While training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to Battle Cell, Vegeta only managed to unlock Super Saiyan Grade 2. Goku, on the other hand, discovered that there was a major problem with the grade form and developed a full version of the Super Saiyan with essentially no flaws.
Full Power Super Saiyan Goku does not leak any extra Ki and basically treats SSJ like his base form, allowing him to continue to grow stronger. There is nothing to indicate that Vegeta ever unlocked a full powered Super Saiyan Dragon BallUnlike Goku. While fighting Beerus, Goku absorbs the power of the Super Saiyan God into his body, allowing him to tap into God Ki as a regular Super Saiyan.
Super Saiyan 2: Vegeta
Vegeta's SSJ2 Rage Boost surpassed even Super Saiyan 3 Goku
Goku may have unlocked Super Saiyan 2 before Vegeta did, but Vegeta's version of Super Saiyan 2 is much stronger than Goku's. in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the GodsVegeta experiences great anger when Beerus slaps Bulma, tapping into an extremely powerful version of Super Saiyan 2. Super Saiyan 2 Enraged Vegeta is so strong, Master Roshi clearly confirms that Vegeta even surpasses Super Saiyan 3 Goku.
In terms of work, Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta couldn't do what Super Saiyan 3 Goku did. Not only does Vegeta take several hits on Virus, he actually makes him bleed. Super Saiyan 2 Goku has achieved no feat as impressive as Vegeta's brief battle with Beerus. While he was eventually overwhelmed, SSJ2 Vegeta was the first mortal to give the God of Destruction a real fight.

Super Saiyan 3: Vegeta
Vegeta doesn't need to be dead to unlock and master SSJ3
Goku struggled for seven years to unlock Super Saiyan 3 in another world. Unfortunately, since Goku was dead at the time, his body never felt the massive stamina and ki drain that comes with using Super Saiyan 3 while alive. It finally bit Goku Dragon Ball Z When he fought Kid Buu and quickly ran out of steam. Interestingly, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta does not have this problem.
in Dragon Ball DAIMAVegeta reveals that he secretly unlocked Super Saiyan 3 while training after his battle with Majin Buu. Even in his mini body, Vegeta is able to sustain Super Saiyan 3 for as long as he wants, surpassing Goku's feats with the form.
Super Saiyan 4: Goku
Vegeta still hasn't unlocked SSJ4 in Canon
Goku is the ultimate Super Saiyan 4 user in every Dragon Ball Continuity. in Dragon Ball GTVegeta needed to use a blutz wave generator to artificially unlock Super Saiyan 4, while Goku unlocked it naturally at the beginning of the series. Also has GT Goku a lot GT is stronger than vegetables.
in Dragon Ball DAIMAGoku unlocks Super Saiyan 4 with Neva's help, while Vegeta is stuck in Super Saiyan 3. Super Saiyan God: Goku
Goku's mastery in SSG surpasses Vegeta's
By performing the god ritual, Goku became the first character Dragon Ball To unlock Super Saiyan God. Goku has been using the Super Saiyan God much longer than Vegeta. For a long time, Vegeta couldn't even use the Super Saiyan God Dragon Ball Super anime continuation. Goku uses Super Saiyan God as a way to test his opponents and assess whether they really need to use Super Saiyan Blue to win.
As of Granolah the Survivor Saga, Goku can now stack Super Saiyan God on top of True Ultra Instinct, allowing him to use UI's reflexes while making use of SSG's massive power boost. Vegeta is stuck using the regular version of Super Saiyan God, so he has no real counter to True Ultra Instinct Super Saiyan God Goku. In a battle between both God forms, Goku would be able to easily defeat the Vegeta version of the Super Saiyan God.

It's the end of an era for Dragon Ball's strongest Saiyans
When the Dragon Ball Super manga finally returns for the Black Frieza Saga, Goku and Vegeta will no longer be the strongest Saiyans in the series.
Super Saiyan Blue: Vegeta
Super Saiyan Blue Evolved is stronger than any of Goku's SSB forms
Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken x20 is one of the strongest versions of SSB, but it is no match for Super Saiyan Blue developed to its full power. Vegeta unlocks Super Saiyan Blue Evolved while fighting Topo during the Tournament of Power. In terms of power, Super Saiyan Blue Evolve gives Vegeta the Ultra Instinct Sign Goku and allows him to stay with Goku until he unlocks Ultra Ego during Granolah the Survivor Saga.
Super Saiyan Blue Evolved is the final version of SSB, giving Vegeta raw power, enhanced durability, and minimal Ki and Stamina drain. as Dragon Ball Super In the manga's Super Hero Saga, Vegeta still uses Super Saiyan Blue Evolve as his main form instead of Ultra Ego. Vegeta's mastery of Super Saiyan Blue Evolved is so sophisticated, he even chooses to fight Gohan Beast in SSBE while Goku had to use Perfected Ultra Instinct to keep up with his son.
Ultra Instinct vs. Ultra Ego : Goku
Goku has fully mastered Ultra Instinct while Vegeta still struggles with Ultra Ego
Although Ultra Ego Vegeta has more raw power than Ultra Instinct Goku, he wouldn't actually be able to beat Goku in a fight in his current state. Ultra Ego's greatest strength is also its greatest weakness. The longer Vegeta fights the Ultra Ego, the stronger he becomes, but he also lets his pain numb throughout the process. Every time Ultra Ego Vegeta has fought so far, he's been slow because he's been unable to gauge how much energy he has left and eventually exhausts himself.
On the other hand, Ultra Instinct Goku is the strongest he's ever been. Perfected Ultra Instinct has reached the point where Goku can trigger Ultra Instinct whenever he wants, stack his Super Saiyan forms on top of it, and subtly project his Ki into an extremely powerful spirit avatar. Ultra Instinct Goku can easily dodge any attack thrown by Ultra Ego Vegeta, countering with his powerful techniques.
