yet, of JJK The ending doesn't change the fact that this is a story that fans have enjoyed immensely over the last 6 or so years, with some chapters keeping them on the edge of their seats and others blowing them away. All in intense action JJK Finally finished with chapter 271, and now, the story of these magnificent wizards is finally over.

A new curse user was finally revealed

  • Yuji, Megumi and Nobara battle the new curse user
  • Yuji dreams of Gozo

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 270 introduced fans to a new curse user. This was another interesting addition by the author, but it was also a calculation. At first, fans were completely confused as to why the author was introducing a new enemy just one chapter before the conclusion of the story. However, later down the line, it finally became clear to fans why this was the case. in JJK Chapter 271, this curse user was revealed as a rather timid man who seemed to be angry that a woman did not return his love. Because of that, he used his new power to create problems in his life.

I am expecting great things from you as you join us! – Yuji Itadori

This bitter man was, naturally, taken for his behavior. It was very strange for the fans to see this man defeated so easily. However, after that, fans saw Gozo's flashback, where he handed over everything to Yuji Itadori and showed him how to raise the next generation. Now, Yuji used this moment to give this man a similar message, letting him know that he expects great things from him in the future once he mends his ways. This was a very interesting touch by the author, and was only meant to show that Yuji is now more mature than at the beginning of the series, and that even though the world is a much safer place now, Yuji is needed. Powerful bunch around him to fight the monsters that cross his path.

Gozo's dream passed to Yuji Itadori

Gozo is dead, but his dream lives on

Of course, one cannot speak at all of JJK Gozo ends without considering Satoru's character. The face of Gozo JJKAnd despite not being the main character, is easily the most popular. Gozo dies in battle against Sukuna in JJK chapter 236. It was a brilliant battle which he fought to the best of his ability. Unfortunately, all of that wasn't enough as Tsukuna not only possessed the power of her own cursed technique, but Megumi's as well. These two cursed techniques combined to essentially give him the edge over the strongest modern wizards killed him.

Gozo is officially confirmed dead, but it's surprising that the author didn't acknowledge his death further into the story. In fact, every character's life in JJK has been affected by Gozo in some way, and it's safe to say that he's at the center of everything. It was definitely a failure of the author not to mention Gozo properly for the last few chapters.

One of you must forget me and acquire a power different from mine. – Gozo

For what it's worth, in the final chapter of JJK, fans got to see Gojo Satoru once again. In a flashback with Yuji, where the two were training together. Gojo realized that he had nothing to fear, because he knew that the generation that would come after him was capable and would reach the same level as him, or even surpass him. Yuji found Gozo's behavior strange, for Gozo it was complete confidence.

Gozo knew that even if he lost the battle against Sukuna, the future of the world was in safe hands. He then told Yuji that he expected great things from him in the future and inevitably, Gozo's dream became Yuji's dream.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Gege Akutami finally confirms Uraume's gender

Gage finally sheds light on the question many fans have about Uraume's gender in JJK.

Gozo wanted to change the jujutsu order, and fans saw that happen in real time in the last few chapters, especially when the higher-ups were essentially all eliminated, and at the same time, those trying to monopolize the jujutsu hierarchy. There was also a simple domain. Now, Gozo's dream is inevitably close to coming true, but at the same time, fans can also come to the conclusion that it was definitely not the best ending for him.

The story of Ryomen Sukuna finally died

Sukuna finally finds the meaning of love

Of course, then, one should also discuss the character of Ryomen Sukuna. Tsukuna was treated well in the Shinjuku Showdown arc. He went up against many wizards and held his own incredibly well. Sukuna was definitely a force to be reckoned with in this fight, and it's safe to say that the performance he delivered was definitely worthy of the title he held. In the end, Tsukuna was defeated by Yuuji, and inevitably, what was left behind was a single finger that shouldn't have enough cursed energy for him to manifest. Essentially, this finger was now harmless and served only as a talisman.

Sukuna is also seen in the afterlife, where he looks back on his life and finally admits that he was the way he was because he was an unloved person. In the end, Sukuna concludes that if there is another chance for her, maybe she will take a different path, this time, one filled with love.

Sukuna's Struggle Jujutsu Kaisen JK 269

Meanwhile, the other characters JJKYuji continued to work alongside Itadori, as did Megumi and Nobara. These are now the faces of Jujutsu High, and they continue to fight against cursed spirits, and at the same time, bring peace to the world. Other characters, such as Yuta, Maki, Toge, and Hakari, among others, continue their daily lives as if nothing happened, and this essentially served as the end of JJK.

Sukuna's finger served as the final panel of the series, and it was essentially symbolic. Obviously, JJK's ending wasn't as good as fans wanted, but it certainly wasn't the worst out there. For now, no sequels or spin-offs have been announced for JJK, but that could potentially change in the future, depending on what the writer wants to do with his next project.

The final chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, JJK 271, was finally released on September 29, 2024. Fans can read the series on the Manga Plus and Shonen Jump apps.
