A commonly overlooked trope of shonen anime is how loud some characters can get. As shonen is a style of show with a younger demographic in mind, there is a tendency for the characters depicted to be somewhat exaggerated.

This exaggeration can come in many forms, but one of them is how big the character is. It could just be the way they talk or when they scream really loud. Some characters are positively iconic because of how much they scream, and even for them it was annoying at first, it usually grows on people and they get used to it.

Kamina was instrumental in bringing the protagonist Simon out of his shell and inspiring the people of the underground village to surface and fight. He was loud as he gave some of his speeches and callouts for his moves.
8 Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto)
Typical loudmouth hero
Shonen heroes come in all shapes and sizes, but they can be loud especially when it comes to fighting. It can be to show your feelings in the moment or to get your message across. Naruto is a typical shonen hero in this regard. Naruto's dream is to become Hokage, and he pursues this ambition with single-minded determination.
In many of his battles, Naruto is loud, yelling beyond belief, and sometimes his yelling can be used for comedic purposes. This is what Sakura does too, as she can also be very loud.

Fullmetal Alchemist has many characters who are experts in their craft, but who is the best of the bunch?
Edward's height means he also has a short fuse and is always willing to chew people out when they annoy him or comment on his height (or lack thereof). He can really go with the best of them and no one wants to be on the receiving end of an Edward rant.
6 Taiga Aisaka (Toradora)
Short, loud, and violent
When talking about classic romance anime of the 2000s, such a list would be incomplete without Toradora. To the uninitiated, it may seem like a healthy romance (which it is to be fair) with two lovers getting to know each other.
But, in Taiga, viewers get a despicable person with lungs to give and a violent streak that might not be appreciated in today's society. Taiga is a perfect tsundere who would rather hit on the boy she loves than admit her feelings. When she confesses, she doesn't get upset and does it with a shout.
5 Squalo (Hitman Reborn)

4 Natsu Dragneel (Fairy Tail)
Almost killed a boy by screaming
From Natsu Fairy Tail One of the most beautiful heroes in the shonen landscape. Arrogant by nature, Natsu not only has the fighting ability, but also the lungs to make it onto any hot character list.
Most memorably for Natsu, his roar is so powerful (and loud) that he defeats villains. This happened when he fought against another dragon slayer, Eric. Eric's hearing is extremely sensitive, so much so that he can even hear a human's heartbeat. Against Natsu, he thought he had the upper hand until the Fire Dragon Slayer screamed so loudly, it knocked Eric unconscious.
3 Inosuke Hashibara (Demon Slayer)
An absolute beauty with all the wrong behavior
Inosuke from Demon Slayer is a surprising character: incredibly wild, yet blessed with immense beauty, he's a character that can take some getting used to. On top of Inosuke's short temper, pride, and confrontational character, he is also very loud.

2 Bakugo Katsuki (My Hero Academia)
A spiky-haired loudmouth
Bakugo is one of the most well-developed characters in shonen. Starting out as a bully who takes Midoriya ruthlessly, Bakugo will eventually grow as a character to become one of the most reliable heroes.
However, while a lot has changed about Bakugou, one thing that hasn't improved is his volume. Bakugo is one of those characters who says everything they say whether friendly or hostile. Bakugo has no indoor voice and people had to either accept him for who he was, or stay away.
1 Asta (Black Clover)
Had to endure for a while

A big part of Asta Black Clover's early popularity was because of how big he was. Asta was so loud that he turned some people off completely throughout the anime. But this lasted for one of the first several episodes as his character softened a bit and people got used to him and grew to respect him for his other skills. He is still very loud though.
