At first, it seems like your character is just rolling around on a metal ball and hoping for the best, but in reality, tumbling can save your life. How to do a basic tumble in REPO
Before you tumble, you need to make sure your tumble button is set properly. Press the Escape button to open Settings and go to Controls. Confirm that Tumble is tied to the Q key. Once that's done, you're ready to start rolling.
To perform a basic tumble:

Sprint forward.

Jump (press space bar).

While in mid-air, press Q to tumble.
Your character will shrink to a Small, round shapeBasically a head with large arms and legs, and spins forward quickly. This simple movement can help you dodge attacks or deal minor damage to certain enemies at the right time.
Tumbling doesn't cost stamina, which makes it one of the few reliable moves you can spam freely.
Tumble grab, explained
The first new upgrade in REPOThe monster update is Tumble Grab. While in Tumble Form, you can now grab items, items and even weapons. When the The red outline on your screen turns yellowIt means something nearby can be caught.
Tumble Grab is useful in many ways. You can grab weapons mid-roll to protect yourself from enemies. In fact, Tumble Grab can even help you resist attacks like Psychic's Levitation.
Tumble Climb, explained
The second major addition is the tumble climb. Once unlocked, it allows you to climb into tumble form, giving you more control over your shrunk little body.
Along with the Tumble Climb upgrade REPOyou can Crawl up the wallRoll along the ceiling, and attach wall-grabs together to travel anywhere in the room. It's like turning your Semibot into a rolling grappling hook.
However, yours Endurance determines how long and efficiently you can climb. The more stamina you have, the longer you can hang and scale.
