The reunion with Elfaria comes first
One faction in Mercedes Cowlis Tower is the Ice Faction, currently led by Alfria Albis Serfort. The Ice Faction is considered one of the strongest factions, mainly due to Alfrea's heavy ice magic, which can instantly freeze vast areas, defeat fellow Magia Wanderers with extreme cold, and establish total battlefield control. Of course, Elfaria is near the top.
It's no surprise that Will wants to join the Ice Faction over any of the other factions in Surffort Tower. From the beginning, Will Serfort wants to reunite with Elfria, who went before him after creating unique and original ice-based magic spells at such a young age. Now that Will finally gets his chance to reach Alpharia after all these years of hoping and praying, he deserves to stand before her not as someone left behind but as an equal who has grown from relentless struggle.
The only thing Will Surfart has to do now is impress the clan chiefs and pass the ordination ceremony with flying colors. The same happens with Julius, who wants to join the Ice Faction. While the decision rests in Alpharia's hands, the Supreme Institute still has the right to reject Will Serfort.

Kreutz is one of the newest characters on Harlon Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 is clearly not in Will Serfort's favor. Like Professor Edward, Kreutz rejects Will Serfort's powerful anti-magic abilities, stating that only high wizards who can actually use magic are eligible to climb the tower and eventually become a full Magia Wanderer.
In episode 7 Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2, Kreutz Harlon plans to use a powerful dungeon monster to stop Will Serfort's ascension. This monster can only be defeated through magic, creating a fatal disadvantage for Will, who must rely on Julius to deflect a powerful Dana Blade attack.
