WASHINGTON: The World Bank said on Monday it was assessing the impact on Bangladesh's loan program after Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled. Hasina's exit comes after hundreds of people were killed in protests that began against preferential job quotas and escalated into protests demanding his downfall.
