For nearly 13 years since Grand Theft Auto 5 has been out and sold over 230 million copies, you'd assume that everything that can be found has been found. Players encounter aliens, UFOs, lost and found Thelma and Louise, a ghost, and a mansion where anyone you touch dies.
As it turns out, however, there was still at least one more thing to discover: a misplaced bottle cap from a famous tea and soft drink brand.
Someone just found a Lipton bottle cap in Grand Theft Auto 5
Lipton is a British beverage manufacturer. It makes a range of tea bags and bottled iced teas in various flavours. The last place you will see this appear will be GTA 5. But it is.
Shared by user chopopoulos on Reddit, amid a pile of rotting garbage, is a bottle cap for a Lipton product, possibly one of its iced teas.
“While exploring Los Santos today, I came across something that really blew me away. We all know that GTA 5 is famous for its parody brands and fictional companies that imitate real-world products without using their names. It's one of the things that makes the game world feel unique. However, during my playthrough, I noticed something for the first time. I thought I was seeing things, so I stopped, looked closely, and grabbed this screenshot, ” they said.
Now, in all likelihood, this is part of an asset pack that Rockstar's team accidentally missed, but it's still funny to watch. This is similar to the time when players discovered Heineken beer in Dark Souls 2.
Today is a big day for GTA fans as Rockstar releases pre-order and pricing information for GTA 6. It has been revealed that pre-orders start at midnight, with the game costing $80, Runs well on PS5 and PS5 Pro, and has some content Locked behind the more expensive ultimate version.
