GTA 6 may get a physical disc release after all

A new rumor has surfaced suggesting just that Grand Theft Auto 6 May get a physical disc release as early as December 2026. As things currently stand, the only physical version of Grand Theft Auto 6 It doesn't include a disc that fans can pre-order, but instead just comes with a code in the box.

After years of waiting, it seems Grand Theft Auto 6 Finally locked in a release date for good. And ahead of that November 19 release date, fans around the world can now pre-order the long-awaited open-world crime game on both PlayStation and Xbox, along with the Standard Edition. Back in January, Polish video game outlet reported the physical release of PPE Grand Theft Auto 6 There could be a delay of a few weeks or even a few months, reportedly in an effort to avoid story spoilers being leaked early. This report was based on information obtained from PPE's own internal sources. In February, a week after this report, Variety asked Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick about the rumors that it was being delayed. Flash forward about five months and Grand Theft Auto 6 Pre-orders are now live worldwide, and technically speaking, Zelnick has stayed true to his word.
