Despite its rough and battered look, the grimoire granted him the ability to use anti-magic. In any magical fantasy universe, that power will always be a hoax. However, Asta's anti-magic did not come in the form of spells. They came in the form of swords. That's where his physicality comes in. Not only does he swing heavy, large swords with ease, but he is also a powerful double edger when the situation calls for it. As he grew stronger, he developed several anti-magic techniques.

Bull Thrust
It goes without question that Asta is physically strong. He can easily use his multiple swords to cut through both his enemies and their magic. But since he can't use magic, he's more or less a melee fighter. At least, it was true at first. One way to overcome that is to get together with a friend.
As a powerful dual-wielder himself, Asta can wield both his Demon-Slayer Sword and Demon-Dealer Sword simultaneously. It is necessary to perform the bull thrust. He must point both swords forward, then throw them straight at his enemies. With the sword's counter magic, he can deflect his target's magic spells and damage them. It also has a one-weapon variation called the One-Horn Bull Thrust, in which he only uses one sword instead of two.

black slash
Black Slash changes Asta's fighting style from a pure short-range fighter to a short-range and mid-range fighter. By accumulating anti-magic on his demon-dwelling sword, Asta can release it as a flying slash. Naturally, Slash has anti-magic that can cut through enemy spells. By swinging the sword multiple times, Asta can also unleash a flurry of slashes. While it can't cut the opponent by itself, Slash knocks them unconscious when hit.
Black Slash also gets upgrades and variations when combined with Mirror Magic. Mirror Slash is the result of a union between anti-magic and mirror magic, not to be confused with Devil Union. After casting Asta into the mirror's brigade, the demon-dwelling sword absorbs the magic and unleashes it in a wave of magic-nullifying flying slashes.

Black Meteorite shares the same concept as Bull Thrust, but on steroids. Asta goes straight towards his enemy, cutting them and their magic down. However, a black meteor turns him into Black Asta after coating his body with anti-magic. In this form, he can manipulate anti-magic by removing Bull Thrust's weaknesses. This form attracts him to strong magic, so he automatically becomes home to them. This makes Black Meteorite even more effective, as he automatically casts in mid-air as well. The image of Asta skyrocketing to chase his opponent looks like a black meteor, hence the name of this technique.
Like Black Slash, Black Meteor also makes a difference when combined with Mirror Magic. Once replicated by the Mirror's Brigade, Asta and his copies use the Black Meteorite to home in on the enemy from multiple directions.

Black separator
After Asta learns to channel his anti-magic, he can use it to expand his already massive Demon-Slayer sword. A large greatsword can be used either as a large shield, as it can still deflect magic, or to cut down larger targets. Naturally, its anti-magic properties are still drawn towards stronger magic, making it harder to dodge. He used this technique to pierce Jagrad's chest. While Zagred is not the strongest devil in the series, it is still a remarkable achievement.

Black Hurricane is one of Asta's strongest techniques, as it can clear an entire area with one strike. As the name implies, Asta performs a flurry of attacks while spinning really fast, creating a whirlwind-like barrage. However, there is a bit more. Asta first needs to enter his black Asta form, then use anti-magic tracking magic to get through his enemies' spells. The great thing about Black Hurricane is that it also destroys traps hidden in fields.

Infinite Slash Equinox
Infinite Slash Equinox is arguably Asta's strongest attack. After all, it's taken from the mighty Yami Tsukehiro's Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash: Equinox. Performs this technique after merging with Asta Liebe. In their union form, Asta wields the Demon-Slasher Katana to perform a downward slash. While simple, it is absolutely devastating. The resulting attack is a massive slash that can travel miles without losing its momentum. Since this is performed using the Demon-Slasher Katana, it only damages the intended target, ignoring any friendly fire.
