How to use cat needles in Elliot's Adventures
You get a cat needle after collecting five cats and checking in at Ailurophilic Traveller. To use the cat's needle, go to the Age of Magic and complete the quest there to get the compass.
A researcher named Carter is missing after speaking with the institute's researchers. As an apology for invading a project, Elliot agrees to go to the last known location to find her.
Upon reaching the marked point, a Myu is seen using magic to defeat enemies. After she reveals that Carter is at her house, go there to trigger a cutscene. Carter is alive and well and trying to convince Mao, Mu to return to the city with him. She refuses, and the researcher goes out to collect some wood.
Some time later, after Carter goes to the North Shed to get more equipment, he is attacked by monsters and rescued by Elliot and Mao. They confess their feelings for each other, and Carter decides to live with Mao in his house away from humans.
