New Diablo 4 bug fix can make players immortal

In an attempt to fix a bugged defensive spell introduced in the latest Diablo 4 By extension, Blizzard seems to have taken it to comical levels again, essentially immortalizing players who side with Glynn's Anvil. Diablo 4 Players will want to get in on this too-good-to-be-true buff because it may only be a matter of time before Blizzard rolls it out.

The Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred The expansion introduced the Paladin and Warlock classes, made various changes and additions to the endgame, added a new campaign, and more. Notably, the Lord of Hate The expansion also introduced Glynn's Anvil Defensive Enchantment, which grants Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, Rogue, and Spiritborn damage reduction to the player's resolve stack for a maximum of eight resolve stacks. The way it works is that each side increases the player's Resolve by 2, and they take 2.5 – 4% damage reduction per Resolve. However, players discovered that they weren't given the full damage reduction that Glynn's Anvil offered when the new expansion was first released. Now, as Blizzard tries to solve the problem, things get interesting.

Diablo 4's new rarity is a complete game-changer

A new Diablo 4 item considered rare in the game has finally surfaced almost a month after Lord of Hatred's release.

Diablo 4 attempts to fix Glynn's side of evil and instead make players immortal

For the following patch 3.0.2 Diablo 4Players have discovered that they can now exceed the eight-stack limit for Glynn's Anvil and add a legendary aspect to all of their gear, making themselves practically immortal thanks to the high resolve and damage reduction stacking effect. A fan on Reddit shared that their hardness has now exceeded 53 million, while some fans have reported hardness figures of over 100 million with the correct build. At those levels, players are essentially untouchable goliaths, as even 2 million toughness is enough to get to Torment 12. Diablo 4.

Unfortunately, wizards and warlocks are locked out of using Glynn's Anvil side, but those who can use it are sure to have a great time with it. Diablo 4 Players taking advantage of this new bug seem to be using it to use different builds and offensive strategies as they don't have to worry about their defenses since they are essentially immortal. They seem to be bringing down the very painful Torment 12 Mephisto in droves. It's also been found that druids in particular can benefit greatly from Glynn's Anvil due to the class's strong resolve stacking ability, making druid classes the most capable of hitting that crazy 100 million toughness stat.

It's unclear if Blizzard intends to not turn to Glynn's side of Evil, however Diablo 4 There has been a small patch since 3.0.2, and it doesn't seem to have addressed the bug. There's a slight chance that Glynn's Anvil is working as intended and that Blizzard didn't expect it to be used so widely, but given the number of builds it's broken, it's unlikely. Diablo 4 Fans who want to get the best build possible for this moment in the season should probably try to find Glynn's Anvil before it's too late.
