PlayStation fan creates viral trophy tracking website

If there's one thing that's most important to PlayStation fans, aside from the exclusives that came out in each console generation, it's their trophy collection.

It's serious enough to the point that when Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered was made free on PlayStation Plus, gamers were encouraged to skip the PlayStation 5 version and download the PlayStation 4 version, since that's the only one with Platinum.

I wish my mind didn't care so much about trophies and achievements

My gaming habits are still dictated by digital trophies that ultimately mean nothing.

Now, a PlayStation fan has created a website that will commemorate every game you've played and every trophy you've unlocked. It's called Panax, and it's going viral because of how unique it is.

After inputting your PSN ID, assuming you've set your profile to public, Panax will spit out an interactive timeline that you can scroll through. Games where you've earned platinum will have a platinum trophy next to the box art.

When you click on a title, it will tell you when you started a particular game, the last time you played and how close you are to the platinum trophy.

In the sidebar, each trophy you've earned is broken down by category (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum), as well as your overall trophy level and the total number of Shiny Gifts you've attached to your PSN ID.

Panax will also tell you the total number of games you've played and the total hours.

All the while, a clean futuristic synth beat will play as you go through your history.

Panax isn't the only viral website getting attention

Nostalgia is a drug, and if you're in the mood for more nostalgia than being able to look through your entire PlayStation gaming history, a separate website will let you relive your Halo memories.

Halo archive titles, gamertags, massacre reports and player data are preserved on an easy-to-use website. However, unlike Panax, it requires sign-up and registration.

There, you can see how well you did with specific weapons, the players you played with the most, and even the games you participated in. There is also the ability to create a halo symbol.

All that to say, if you're in the mood to revisit your gaming history, these fans have you covered. Here's another hope for something Nintendo-related.

Last time I checked the PlayStation Plus didn't need RAM, so why the price hike?

Everything in video games is getting expensive, and that includes the PlayStation Plus…
