of something Pokemon The most interesting revelations of the leak come from Generation 3. Not only are a treasure trove of unused maps and art to be found, but also a large number of scrapped critters. PokemonA third generation has been found.
Every generation of the franchise has been involved Pokemon Teraleak, even the upcoming Gen 10. The main aggregator of these leaks is Centro Leaks on X, although much of the archiving is done by Cutting Room Floor, a wiki dedicated to cataloging scrapped video game content. A spreadsheet that was originally compiled by that wiki, related to a smorgasbord of scrapped Gen 3 Pokemon, was uploaded to Reddit by u/vagrantwade on r/PokeLeaks. Although that original spreadsheet appears to have been lost, the information on these scrapped critters has been preserved by The Cutting Room Floor.

Gen 3 Scrapped Pokemon and Scrapped Starter
The scrapped Generation 3 Pokémon game was discovered via Freak Terralek, originally compiled in the aforementioned spreadsheet. According to leaks, 15 of these Pokémon were scrapped after March 2002, meaning they were delayed in development. Fittingly, most of these Pokemon have sprite art, often with feedback from an unknown developer attached. These notes are key to understanding why many of these creatures were discarded, with many of the unused Pokémon being labeled as similar to existing Pokémon. Monorabi, a scrapped Pokemon that looks like a fire dog, has it worst; Its only note is the brief statement “seems distorted.”
The most famous of these is the unreleased Gen 3 starter. Ruby, Sapphireand Emerald All have Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip as their starter Pokemon, but the Water Type of the trio was once dominated by a Pokemon called Warabito. Leaked art of this unused starter, replaced in the final game by Mudkip, depicts Warabitto as a white rabbit wearing a life preserver. Although the adorable mudkip has become a fan favorite, many in the community have now fallen in love with this aquatic rabbit.
Beside sprite art and rough art, the Pokemon The leak also showed some detailed concept art from the Gen 3. Amongst the scrapped Pokemon art are some weird asides, including some unused Pokemon rendered in a very fun style. Here's another unused and unknown Pokemon, sitting on a green body with a skull, isolated in its own folder. Early plant art and a Pokemon navigator can also be found here.
Unused and prototype maps
A huge assortment of early maps, determined for once Pokemon Ruby, Sapphireand EmeraldTeralek disclosed. Many of these positions are very similar to their last iterations, although others – e.g EmeraldBattle Dome – saw cosmetic improvements. Slateport City changed dramatically between its early and final forms, being the original location for its prototype Weather Institute.
Looking at these early maps, one detail that stands out is the original Poke Mart design with the red roof. In the final games all Poke Marts were changed to blue roofs, presumably to differentiate them more from Poke Centers.
Battle pike from Pokemon Emerald As opposed to just prototype map content, a scraped map is a great example of content. A sample map is included, a collection of mismatched sprites that can be used as a resource to drag and drop assets onto area map art. There is also a version of the lobby area that looks wrong, its sprites are messy, and most of its tiles are blank magenta. Moreover, a fragmented room has been allocated here – Room 7, a long corridor with a red carpet spread along its length, was not used in the final game.
