A Hero's Journey update will arrive on June 3, 2026. Gameloft has not officially confirmed the release time, however Dreamlight Valley Updates almost always go live around 9 AM ET. Below, you can find the expected launch times in different time zones:

This update comes with a bunch of new content, but what I'm looking forward to the most are easily the new characters. This time, we're getting it Hercules and his iconic trainer, Phil, both join Valley from Disney Hercules (1997).
Like many characters, these newly added Disney icons will have their own realm within Dream Castle. You need to visit it, meet the couple, and work through their quests before they can move into your valley. After unlocking them, you can do their friendship quests.
The region will not be free to unlock. You'll need to spend some Dreamlight to open the door, so make sure to save up a bit before downloading the update.
Of course, it won't be one Dreamlight Valley Brand-new Star Path without update. As always, dreamers will receive a list of duties to complete, and each one rewards tokens that can be exchanged for special items.
A hero's journey The update will also bring some limited-time events later this month. be the first Dreamlight Park Fest, which runs from June 10 to June 30. Then, players can participate Picture Pursuit event, which will be available from July 15th to July 28th.
