Lord of Hatred Warlock turns you into Pac-Man

Warlock is a very versatile class Diablo 4: Lord of HatredGiving players the option to bend to their summons or use arcane spells to kill enemies. As a result, Warlock has become the strongest Diablo 4 Classes in the short time since Lord of Hatred began. Among the top builds for Diablo 4 Warlocks in Season 13 is the one that essentially lets players play the game Pac-ManTreating enemies like Pinky, Inky, Blinky, and Clyde, and Warlock's summons like the Power Pellet-Epowered Pac-Man.

Pac-Man is a gaming icon best known as a floating yellow head with pellets and fruit, which turns into a nightmare for ghostly enemies after receiving a power pellet. Diablo 4 Warlock recaptures this feeling with the Blazing Scream skill, which allows the class to summon a flaming skull that launches forward, bouncing around the screen and stunning enemies it hits. With the right setup, it Diablo 4 The build can terrorize Mephisto's army across the realm of Scovos while making players feel like they've transported Pac-Man straight to Sanctuary.

These Soul Shards can greatly influence how a Warlock plays, allowing them to summon Greater Demons, each with a different ability. For this build, Diablo 4 Players will want to invest in the Ritualist Shard, as it grants access to Valloch and empowers the Hellfire skills that make Blazing Scream such a fun build for Warlocks to use.

The best skills to use in a Blazing Scream Warlock build

  • Fierce screams

  • The order collapsed

  • Tortured vile

  • A dark prison

  • Sigil of Subversion

  • Apocalypse

The focal point of this build is Blazing Scream, an infernal core skill that sends out a flaming demon skull that deals 130% damage to enemies. With the Skull Splitter upgrade via Lord of Hatred's new skill tree update, Blazing Scream also spawns smaller Laser Demon Skulls that hunt down enemies. This puts the skill in the unique position of both a lesser monster and a greater monster skill, opening the door to some interesting synergies.

Command Fallen is the base skill of choice in this build due to its excellent rage generation capabilities. Given how much Rage a Warlock will spend to cast Blazing Scream, having a Command Fallen to keep this resource up will be critical to the success of this build. As such, the Wrath upgrade is ideal for the Warlock's Command Fallen Summoning skill.

The Dominance upgrade is also suitable for Command Fallen, as the Warlock needs Dominance to cast Tortured Wretch.

Tortured Wretch and Dark Prison are both great options for trapping enemies so that Blazing Scream can take them out. Tortured Wreck summons a monster that pulls in enemies and forces them to attack for 5 seconds, dealing damage, while Dark Prison creates a totem that binds enemies, preventing them from escaping. Both of these skills are perfect for crowd-control Diablo 4 enemies and keeping them within range of Blazing Scream, allowing them to be hit multiple times as they bounce around the screen.

Sigil of Subversion creates a ritual that contains enemies within the hexes, and killing 8 enemies or monsters within the ritual sends out shadow trails that grant the warlock a stack of shadows while in them. With the Seekers upgrade, Sigil of Subversion can aid in corralling enemies by teleporting them to a shrine after they first come into contact with the Shadow Trail.

Apocalypse is the ultimate skill Diablo 4 Warlocks want to use this build as it can deal massive Hellfire damage over a large area, which coordinates well with the rest of this build's playstyle. The Survivor Damage upgrade is particularly useful as it increases Apocalypse Survivor damage to enemies by 100% for two seconds, increasing by 200% if they are hexed. This allows Blazing Scream to easily finish off any survivors of this ultimate.

Unique and legendary aspects that empower the Scream Warlocks ignited in Diablo 4

  • Elegy

  • The bond of attrition

  • Eightfold Idol

  • Aspects of ritual synthesis

  • The cremation party

When choosing tools to bring this build together, there are three Diablo 4 Uniques that Warlocks should look out for. The first is Elegy, a unique one-handed sword that grants Blazing Scream the Skull Splitter upgrade for free and increases its damage by 20-30%, allowing players to invest in a different upgrade for a core skill. Additionally, players may want to buff their Dark Prison skill's Bindings of Attrition unique pants by resetting its cooldown to 48% of the Warlock's maximum life to reduce damage by 20-30% while Dark Prison is active.

The Eightfold Idol Unique Ring is the final essential unique for this build, allowing Blazing Scream to leave a sigil of subversion shadow trail behind it. It also adds 160-200% damage to Sigil of Subversion. With this unique effect, the Sigil of Subversion's ability to teleport Diablo 4 Enemies who touch the shadow trail at the ritual site are more effective, as it will be more likely to activate.

Two of the best legendary aspects to include in this warlock build are the aspect of ritual synthesis and the aspect of cremator. Aspects of Ritual Synthesis make it so that casting a Hellfire skill gives 30-50% cooldown reduction to Occult skills for 3 seconds, allowing Blazing Scream to reduce the cooldown of skills like Sigil of Subversion, Dark Prison, and Apocalypse when cast. Cremator's aspect is the main reason Ritualist Shard and Valloch are needed for this build, as this legendary aspect increases fire skill damage by 70-100% when 4 or more overpower stacks. Valloch grants the Warlock additional stacks of Overpower, also boosting the power of Blazing Scream and Apocalypse to create a brutal Hellfire combo.
